Yamasa is the most cigar that I smoke daily. Even my nickname is Yamasa 😂
I really enjoy a Yamasa. I have about 4 left that I have allowed to rest for 3 years now. This is definitely a blend that, in my opinion, gets better and smoother with age.
Just smoked it 2 days ago for my birthday, was the first time I could taste cinnamon in a cigar! Awesome blend and very nice wrapper
If you like Cinnamon I'd Suggest the Avo Expressions LE 2024. Cinnamon bomb!
My girlfriends grandmother lives in Yamasa and she cultivates tobacco.
Very cool!
When you said Yamasa I immediately thought "Wow, Japan make cigars?"
😂
I love the Puro D’oros I’ve still got about 35 of them, fantastic smoked
Wonderful review! Thank you!
I enjoyed the Yamasa and am looking forward to trying out their new Maduro on my day off. Davidoff is overpriced, but you do get great quality and consistency. They're like the Macallan of the cigar world
Thanks for the great review! I really would like to hear a price / pricerange of the cigar you are reviewing. Cheers from germany.
funny how i can taste hidden ingredients in meals i did not cook , but cant find more than 2 or 3 notes in cigars
It's a different ballgame since flavor notes in cigars are more nuanced and also fleeting. Just keep trying, don't overthink it and eventually the flavor notes will find you 😊
did I just hear peaty cigar!? And up it goes on my list of cigars to try. Thank you for the tip, great review 👍
Yamasa in my opinion is one the best Davidoff cigars out there along with Winston churchill late hour. Unbelievable blend, tastes better in robusto and above sizes, not so much in the short churchill size
Really liked your review on this! I think this is a perfect after dinner cigar after a hearty meal. White Russians go good with this
Prefer the Nicaragua and the Late Hour. Yamasa and Escurio for me were forgetable. (but everyone has a different taste)
Exactly 👍 Nothing wrong with having a preference
The Yamasa and the Escurio are very memorable but super specific, Nicaragua is like an awesome softer Padron Family Reserve in a way; 10 Anniversary is OMG Amazing… the Late Hour is so freaking good and the standard WC is just simply amazing :) Thank you Henrik and Eladio!
Love the review. Also one of my favorites. Have you reviewed the Oliva Monticello? I just smoked this cigar and it was amazing. Keep the reviews coming.
Not yet but we might in the future!
Had that Puro D’Oro you were talking about, bought 4 pack back at Davidoff of London, however, Yamasa is the only Davidoff I will smoke. Very well balanced cigar, I enjoyed it a lot.
🙌
Davidoff = Transitions. Amazing cigars.
Good Evening 😊 Awesome Review👌🏽 Thanks for sharing 👏🏼 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Jou ma se 😂

I bet that would pair very nicely with The Laphroaig 10, very Peaty ....
I must order 1 to try it.... Thanks Mazz ..
At my B&M I picked this up and the escurio, and the late hour Churchill. Not one to save cigars for special occasions, but I will be holding on to these for the right time.
I had the escurio last week. One of the worst cigars i've had this year! I think it should be better with some age on it though!
@@HBCigars I think you're right about aging the escurio. I have a box I've been slowly going through and every time I smoke it is better than I remember. I quite like the blend though. Maybe our taste is just different
@@HBCigars hmmm interesting. No offense but when someone says the worst they had from one of the top of the top cigar makers. There needs some questions that need to be asked. Not questioning palette or experience. Just saying.
@@waynekerr5502 Could just be different palletes. I've smoked, quite literally, 100s of Davidoffs. I will say this one had almost extreme construction issues. I had to use the perfecdraw almost halfway through the thing to get a decent draw. I'm willing to age the Escurio for a year and try again. ROTT it was not it.
@@HBCigars nice. Ya, I guess I’ll let it sit longer than I planed on too. Thanks for the heads up.
I was given a Davidoff 3 pack yamasa was one of them 👍
From this line up (discovery line up), yamasa is amazing and delicious.
Yamasense here 🙋♂️
still keeping davidoff puro d oro gigantes box of 10s.. great cigar with full tastee
This is the only davidoff I haven't cared for. The nicaragua and domincana and late hour I prefer more
I sm going to definitely try it
Hope you enjoy 🔥
I have a Yamasa in my humidor it's almost 9 years old now
😮 that's going to be great when you eventually enjoy it
Beautiful made cigar.. But I'd like the power ,but less pepper or spice? Normally would go with the Davidoff Nicaraguan
What’s the price point?
Hey Holts and Mazz! I watched almost all video about cigars, cutters and accessories. But what about how to clean your cigar cutter? What type of liquids should we use to clean them!? Thanks😁😁😁😁😁
Just plain rubbing alcohol will do the trick 👍
Hey Holts! Faithful watcher and new cigar enjoyer here, I had a question about cigars. Have you seen the Arnold Schwarzenegger video where he takes a cigar and lightly brushes it with tequila and then dips the mouth end lightly in it? Is this a legit technique? Is it even beneficial? Can it work with other spirits? Thanks!
We're too familiar with the clip at this point 😂 It isn't something we would recommend. Check out our short "Sorry Arnold… (HOT take) 👀🔥"
I’m more of a “Hi everyone, Anthony here” enjoyer
I tried it on vacation in Vegas 3 years ago and thought it was a pepper bomb. I was disappointed
I switched videos after I heard you say petey the 4th time
To what? I didn’t realize there was a descriptor limit. I’ll try harder to keep you below that. 😏
I didn't feel like it was that great of a cigar it was good but could of been better
All cigars from all reviewers speak of the same notes or similar notes! On the other hand, how can you possibly taste a cigar profile for a review while drinking another beverage as it affects your causative Guustative and Nasal receptors.
Unless the review is for pairing comparison.... of course!
Tremendo Tallo.-
Davidoff is overpriced brand, got small cigars for the price i dont think they "deliver" , most of them score below 90. Im impressed with the Davidoff cigar documentary, but all that work for probably mediocre cigar. Okay only tried two of their basic cigars but still, a lot of competition for less money.
Funny you say that, I smoked 2-3 Davidoff's the last 2 weeks. My dad gifted them to me after his trip to London. Uninteresting and overpriced.
Unfortunately not the same since leaving Cuba
I like davinoff. But you have to understand what you're buying and which one is which.
