If anyone needs some extra help finding their personal style i highly recommend Kiana Bonollos video about making her sewing mood board. She goes over finding the color pallet, fabrics, inspo photos and how to put it together. Even if you don't sew i find it really helps with narrowing down things you like the look of vs things you like to actually wear so that when you go shopping/thrifting it helps you focus on what you actually want to buy to fit your wardrobe. I'm using this idea to create my own mood cork board for things i buy as well as make so that my closet is cohesive and i can wear anything with anything else.
Loved this video! I spent 2023 decluttering and building out style boards. And now that I'm in 2024 I'm slowly building out my wardrobe and finding the best outfits, shapes, colors, etc for me! I use Pinterest for my style inspo and I focus on vibes & basic shapes rather than on ever duplicating specific outfits!
Yessss we love to see it! I feel like I had a similar process, decluttering A LOT in 2022, figuring out my personal style more in 2023, and now utilizing what I have and fine-tuning the details 🥰 I also love to use pinterest, I like that I can search for different styles there rather than just accept whatever the feed gives me (though it does become pretty well curated over time).
I am definitely in a lot of dilemma right now because I have a lot pieces that are not suitable for my job. I love short skirts and black tights and cool grunge t-shirts with doc martens, but I cannot really wear them most of the time. :( I also like dressing in a soft way, that style fits my job, but I don't want to give up on my other side either.
I know the feeling, I've had to leave my personal style at home for work too! Maybe you can focus on wearing your grungier style outside of work? That's what I've done before. Either way, you shouldn't have to give up on your style ❤
@@jemi_ Definitely, I should plan my grungier outfits for occasions outside work. :D Most of the time the problem was that I didn't plan enough. I really should examine my wardrobe again since spring is finally here again. It is my favourite season regarding my outfits as well. 😊
Thank you for watching & I'm glad you enjoyed the video! ❤ Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see from this channel. And I Iove Germany, been to a few cities there! 😊
@@dia.ko08 !! I almost scrapped my bloated tummy outfit ideas video, but I'm glad to know it would be useful for others as well! It might take me a while, but I'll upload a video on it, cuz I'm always bloated haha.
Problem with personal style is that my personal style involves a lot sewing. Because, wow, am I poor. (For context, my go to is something you might see in the mid victorian (1860s) to mid edwardian (1905))
Oh wow, that's amazing, your style sounds so cool! 🤩Would you say it was easy or difficult to learn to sew your own clothes? I'm hoping to learn to sew when I get a bigger apartment, I'd like to start making my own clothes since my proportions don't usually work with modern clothing (but everything my mom wore in the 90s fits me perfectly). plus I'm part of the broke club too haha.
@@jemi_ I won't say its easy, but I /will/ say that it can be super rewarding. I've been sewing for over 20 years now (Im 29, fwiw) and I'm still learning new things. But each time I do its like I'm falling in love with it all over again. You could learn to sew now, even with a small apartment. You don't need a fancy set up, just some scissors, thread, thimble, and a needle. But even if you do want to learn on a machine, my sewing room is a tiny corner of my bedroom, an approximately 5 by 5 foot space, in a house with 4 other adults. RUclips has an amazing wealth of sewing knowledge and tutorials for free. Go through your linen closet, repurpose old sheets or alter your current clothing. And don't wait for the potential of someday. If you want to, do it now, even if its just refitting your t shirts or watching an endless stream of tutorials. ETA: I also teach sewing one on one, and the sense of reward is something I've observed in my students as well. I do also tell them to not wait, to absolutely go online and watch tutorials and get started now vs potential laters. I'm not the end all be all of sewing (or anything, really lol), but also you gotte meet yourself where you are, not where you want to be. Because thats how you /get/ there.
@@Nebulouslystarlight That sounds amazing 💕 I want to save money for a sewing machine. My current goal is to not gather anything extra in my apartment since I'll most likely be moving soon, but I want to get a sewing machine for the next place and get started! I've seen a lot of the sewing tutorials here and there, and seeing people make something from scratch is so satisfying too. I'll take baby steps, and who knows, maybe one day I can sew something I can showcase on this channel 🥰
"get the ball rolling and you'll have a snowman in no time" is my new life motto
I SWEAR I thought I was being clever in the moment 😩 tbh tho it kinda makes sense...if the ball is rolling in snow lol❄
As a lifelong snowman enthusiast I can confirm this IS a legitimate saying - at least for me! ☃️ Never felt so seen 🥲🤍

Your best color seems to be dark teal, absolutely beautiful and radiant with your eyes and hair.
First video, and I subscribed. I like how you add photos of outfits and creative inserts, and references to anime or tea. It's a fun mix.
You sound like Rosanna Pansino
Also, not many people can make that hairstyle look cool like anime but you do. 😎
