No worries, Drew! I found myself inwardly hearing one of the lovely tunes you tend to use for display moments. And in a way, the silence was nice also! Holiday blessings, and thank you for all you do! Love this channel! 😊💜
Thanks Drew! My husband drinks wine and plays chess, so he'd love either of those gifts! I'll have to see if he's got an electric bolt cutter without telling him why I want to use it. The drill is no problem. I love the candle idea too and my daughter loves candles!
13 years, WOW!!! And you keep on surprising us with great content, either diys, decorating, home renovations, just everything!!! Who knows what the future will bring! But we'll be here waiting!😊💞
He is just so so good isn’t he ! I too remember when he was creating thing Foto dollar tree items and of course they too were so cute! Boy hasn’t he came a long long way! I love watching all his creations decor and his Magic!
Drew, I loved each one of these DIY projects. Creating handmade gifts like these is far more rewarding than buying something off the shelf. I know the people close to me are keenly aware of my time … Giving a gift like this would mean more to them than a gift card … it means… I thought about you… I devoted my time and kept your style and colors in mind… and, I hope you love it … as I love you 💕 Thanks for always keeping it real. RR
The chess board project is fantastic--great for my friend with dogs who needs hanging space for leashes and collars, and the bookmark for my friends who read a lot and the wine corks and the checkered candles. . . I think you just solved half my Christmas gift list!
The reason it feels so natural and normal to you ( creating ) is because its who you are, meaning its the best way for you to express the divine spark you are . When we all follow our joy, creativity, excitement ( what ever individual form that takes) we are living our true selves. Thank you for being an example of this Drew.
Drew - thank you so much for sharing these! They are all wonderful! My husband's family has a "Dollar Gift" (yes, $1) swap tradition and coming up with my idea is always the most stressful (but sometimes fun) part of the holidays for me. All of these ideas could be a Dollar Gift using things I already have around the house but are still really cool and useful! Happy Holidays!
I am so excited that I received my Lone Fox purchases from your holiday store this week. They are beautiful of course but I must congratulate who wraps the items for shipping. Every piece was so amazingly wrapped and secure so that there was no possibility of breakage.
Been travelling overseas for months, so I’ve been catching up binge watching all the Lone Fox videos I missed! Also commenting under a new account. Love seeing how the house is looking a year later. Edit: also wanted to say I love the mix of vlog house & how to videos. Wishing you and everyone a happy Christmas 🎄love the felt bookmark!
Oh my goodness these projects are amazing ! I have been watching you for about 2 yrs I believe, and you're DIY's never disappoint. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talents. Love & Blessings from Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️ xo
I love the chess board “Coat Check” but if you are giving it to someone that likes chess, learning to play the game so the pieces are actually “in check” (or at least the correct spots on the board) might be a good idea, or it could annoy them. Probably of more importance is to countersink the screw holes on the back, so the screw heads don’t damage your wall. The candles are inspired! ☺️ I already had some on my shopping list, but this elevates them so much - I’ll have to try it!
I have to admit how much I missed your DIY video last year. I can say this with all honesty, that YOUR DIY projects are the only ones I still have out in my home! The one that gets the most comments is the $.50 plastic bowl and cup (from Target) glued together and covered with baking soda chalk paint. I filled mine with a beautiful green moss and have it placed on stack books! My grandsons love chess, so I will have to make the chess board project you did today for their room!!
Love the book mark idea. I have so many people that would be perfect for. And I just love that hand made old world kind of look that they had. It was just lovely. Thank you for sharing❤
I loved your projects, the lone Fox tissue paper, and especially seen the fire behind you. It really seemed to bring the mantle decorations to life. I hope we get another house tour for Christmas. And I would love to see Nicholas Fairford visiting your home and you visiting his.
Thank you so much for sharing my felt bookmark! I’m so glad you loved it! My daughter in law is a huge fan of yours and she called me so excited! It’s definitely a great and easy DIY gift!!! 🎁 😊
This is the first comment I have ever posted for a video and I have to say this is probably one of the best Christmas diy gift videos out there. I stumbled across this video and I am so happy I did. The way you walk us through the projects is so easy to follow along with and I especially appreciate the tips you give along the way - like how to make the petals on the bookmark. After watching your video I am excited to make bookmarks for my friends for Christmas. Now, I’m off to binge the rest of your Christmas DIY videos 😊. THANK YOU for your great video and unique gift ideas.
We're doing gifts different this year in my family but I really do like these ideas I'll probably make them for my own decor. My roommate would love the chess board idea definitely
I have so many corks! I love that idea! 😁💜 Thinking back on this, I would need more of the taper on one end. Thanks for all your great ideas throughout the years Drew! 😁💜🎄✨
I love your videos and your ideas so much. The content is fantastic on its own, but the way you put your videos together and present in such a relaxing way that it makes watching them so calming. Thanks for the amazing ideas.
These are terrific Drew! I love especially the bookmark one, which as I do embroidery I can do some fancy stuff! I laughed when you found the "lazy daisy" stitch. It *is* a neat one. There are tons more so those who stitch could make some fabulous book marks. Outstanding is also the checkerboard hand it up board - I want to know. Is the pattern showing a check mate? (I don't play chess so wouldn't know) Enjoy your holiday prep!
I have that same color felt and already have the embroidered floss with me! Definitely will sew initial embroidered bookmark, what a true lifesaver you are!
Great ideas!! I like the wine corks and the felt book marks. I have people in mind for these!! The stitch around the bookmark is called a blanket stitch. Might be easier for your viewers to look up a tutorial using that term. Plus backstitching and other terms with embroidery. Just google embroidery stitches. Many tutorials there, too. You are amazing that you can just pick up a needle and thread and go to town. Awesome job!!!
Very nice ideas. Wow 13 years... I remember you styling clothes with Chris, in Paris, NY, helping her setting up part of her house, and your trip with her to the thrift store,I believe that's the way I found you or I found you first then her, can't remember. Happy holidays!
I have one suggestion for the book mark. If you cut THREE pieces of the felt... embroider one; then get fusible facing and stick two triangles together- then you don't see the embroidery and the front will have a little stiffness to it. Then use the third one for the back.
Thank you for your beautiful and well-explained tutorial. I’m new to your community and so very happy that I found it. Thank you, again! Merry Christmas!
I’m not sure how the background music didn’t export for the ending of project 3 😢 It was so magical!

You should do a shirtless video ;)
What paint do you use on the candles that is ideal for heat/fire?
Ring on his finger
the chess coat rack/key holder was genius!!!

Beautifully said 😊
I can not agree with you more.

The wolf says the fox knocked it out of the park! Congratulations, Drew on 13 years!

Those are some of the best DIY gift ideas I’ve seen on line! Bravo 🙌
hopefully the paint you use on the candle's isn't toxic when it burns!
Wow Drew. Thank you for sharing this great projects. I love the Reno/ design but also the throw back DIYs. Merry Christmas

Happy Holidays Drew. If you add a bit of dish soap, I use Dawn, to your acrylic paint it helps it stick to the candles when you’re painting.
Yay first comment and first like. Love this channel. Best to you and your family. Thanks for making this video. Happy holidays!!!!!
Love it! Please do more sewing and embroidery DIYs, I have absolutely been loving these!
These gift videos are how I found you so many years ago and I’ve been blown away ever since!! Hope you have a magical holiday ✨

Great gift ideas! I especially love the painted taper candles.
Drew! You are so talented sir! We love you and the only other person that I would watch as much as you is your friend MaCenna!
Thank you so much for sharing my felt bookmark! I’m so glad you loved it!
My daughter in law is a huge fan of yours and she called me so excited!
It’s definitely a great and easy DIY gift!!! 🎁 😊
You are an artist! You always say in your videos you aren't, but there are many forms of art, and you sir are an artist!!❤
I loved that the knights are horses!!!! So beautiful... I'm making this. Thank you!!!
I could see those hand painted tapers as cool. Can't think of how I'd use the corks though they were adorable.
Thank you. I was totally stuck on what to do! I just painted some white candles with copper paint as instructed. Beautiful! 🙏🕯️
I am a big reader and those would be cute in my books. I’ll make some for my sisters who also love reading. That chess board hanger was amazing.
Love all these ideas 💡 super cute and also super practical ❤
The bookmark is super charming, but love love love the candles.

These are great! All of them, but I loved how simple and unique the wine corks are! Thank you!!
Love! I'm going to make two of them... The bookmark for my eldest LOTR book reader and the checker board one for my other son... Brilliant ❤

Oh I doubt it though I'm not a player. He called the "knight" a "horse" which made me chuckle. But all great diy ideas!
Love the simple candle idea!
I'm definitely making a bookmark for my daughter. Thanks for the quick tutorial.
All the ideas are great! The taper candles are over the top!

Hi Drew! I love how you truly appreciate the artisan feel of things. I just hate the slap some paint, on it mentality. You are so cute and inspiring!
Every single one! Great post, thanks for the ideas.
Like the wine topper idea, and the book corner keeper. Very good ideas. I also enjoyed your fast White House tour recent upload.
Definitely will be attempting the book mark it’s so adorable for my daughter as it’s her last year in Uni
I sure enjoyed these, especially the candles.
Loving the house you’ve decorated for Christmas and the projects were brilliant xxx
Thank you for your beautiful and well-explained tutorial. I’m new to your community and so very happy that I found it. Thank you, again! Merry Christmas!
