Would be nice to interview some kiwi drivers. Hear their thoughts, stories, share their knowledge. Could that be something in the future? If time allows i guess.
@@Tricktrucker that would've been awesome. Watched your vid in that day. Too bad about the wet weather. Next time I see you parked up in Manukau my coffee shout.
Last I heard there were about 800 roundabouts here in Canberra Aus alone. I think they are great if used properly. You would think drivers here were used to them… no, no they are not. The indicating when going straight makes no sense to me either 💁🏻♀️ on the other hand do not even get me started on right hand lanes on our parkways… 😑
What I don't like are the inconsistent rules around multi-lanes roundabouts. So where I live there are 3 sequential roundabouts and each have different rules around which lane goes in which direction, eg, turn right from the left lane. This means sometimes people get confused and pull out into the wrong lane or oncoming traffic.
There’s a special place in hell for people who indicate right when going straight on at a roundabout

Haha yeah I had a friend living in Canberra and I’ve heard all about the roundabouts there

Yeah I see this a lot. Same with turning at lights. If you’re not familiar with the area it’s often easy to end up in the wrong lane
