It ain't that dodgy, if you're not getting involved. Yet, quite a few times at 2am I've needed to step back into a doorway while drinking with my local boys that live there, to avoid stray bullets. Most of the time I've turned up at 4pm and walked home the next morning at 8 or 9am with no dramas. Also, Ferchos which doesn't start cranking to after midnight, is the best bar there.
Wrong. Bogota is a huge city, very metropolitan and there are many different parts, some super beautiful. This is just one part, and every big major city has a section that looks like this.
If u the type to go on prestige physiquez channel that u ain't going to Medellin and we're capping for Cartagena cos "I wanna be around my black ppl" u gonna be disappointed in Bogota, that's where the most racism and white Colombians stay. Bogota santafe street area is literally the same prices as TJ street girls , so u traveling 12 hours + for same and less English spoken, u even dissed me on doing street girls in TJ while u fronted that u rather pay 120$ to go in the bars in TJ. Wtf? U a confused trick confirmed. Stay in Cartagena, Sosua or Hong Kong club in TJ bruh, u ain't made for the real field , u the type ruining it for thorough breds like me and ain't no different than them wyte boys 100-200$ tricks, u done ruined Costa Rica, DR, Panama city, Medellin, now y'all asking about Bogota, lmao. Even less safe than Medellin for tourist, and less black ppl than Cartagena, that ain't my style,I like my black Colombianas💯
I just left Santa fe and it's safer than some hoods in america. Dudes get into arguments and shot everywhere. I walked around day and night without a problem.
I been to Bogota twice and will return later this year. I pay gringo prices for accomodation and stay around Parque 93 because I can walk around, even at night, if I want to. Of course, I don't wear any jewelry and don't walk around with my phone out either. Never been to Sante Fe, but hear a lot about it. I may go just to see what it is like, but I have never really been in to street girls and I don't speak Spanish very well.
Was in Bogota last week. Stayed in the same area near hippie park. Bogota is real street for anyone who isn't familiar with big city life. The wrong turn down a certain street or alley could be a bad move. Way different than Medellin. I like Bogota as a city to visit but not to live, unless I lived in the north. The food in my opinion was better than Medellin and because of the variety. People aren't as welcoming as Medellin but still friendly. Less games and BS with females, they're more straight up than in Medellin. Im way more relaxed in Medellin from what I noticed which is what I prefer.. stress free, chill.
Colombian living in Houston here. And I have to tell you.. you are brave as fuck, not smart... but brave. Walking in those areas is dangerous as fuck. Not even regular Colombians do that. Stay safe amigo.
I know I'm late but I'm actually leaving to go to Bogota this Saturday and plan on going to Santa Fe during the day only. I've watched a lot of videos on Santa Fe and from what I've seen most people are just minding their own business. I see it like it's anywhere else you go, mind your business and if it can be avoided, avoid it, whatever "IT" may be.
Had a knife pulled out on me on my first night there. I never went out at night again after that. It was a butter knife and I jogged away from him but damn that was enough to make sure I was in my hotel by 7pm each day. Not sure if I will go back there again. I'll rather a city where I feel safe after a drink or two.
@@LeonardoRUclips8 Is this a video on the other nice parts of Colombia or is it a video on a dangerous area?? Think about your comment first before posting
I stayed at an Airbnb in the International District of Bogota. It was a 5 min walk to the National Museum. 10 min walk in a different direction, and you find yourself in the sketchiest part of Barrio Santa Fe. So yeah, you got to use a lot of common sense there.
Dude even a normal bogota citiziens wont go to this hood there is or you pull up with car to pick up chicks or nothing These mofos just find out you are foreing and till there it goes

Good that you are covering this stuff. Most RUclipsrs show just the glitz and glamor.

If my flight gtets into Bogota late is it safe to use Uber, or do they have cabs late at the airport
It's not as dangerous as people make it seem. Use the ride share ap didi or you will get over charged by regular taxi drivers.
Hell yea, thanks
