Glad you agree. It's been a great jacket over the years. The only one I like a little better is the Skyline Fuse 3L Jacket. thegoodride.com/snowboard-jacket-reviews/skyline-fuse-3l-jacket-review/
Very similar jackets. Hover has the articulating hood vs. the contoured here. This is also more split board/backcountry focused with less traditional pockets made for those that wear back packs. The Hover has normal pockets. I Drift Board, Rover and Split Board a good bit throughout the season so the Tusk works better for me. It's not bad as a resort jacket as well. I think if you aren't hiking the Hover is the better call. I'd only go Tusk if you want the extra protection a contoured hood provides.
I love the contoured hood and I've had this jacket for 2 seasons. It is one of the best jackets I've ever owned. It is one of the best compromises for uphill travel and resort riding. Especially if you see a lot of wet conditions.
This is a great jacket. The fit is wonderful. Not only is it great it for snow sports, but it's also an all around alpinism capable shell.

Curious how the new Hover with GORE-TEX Pro compares.

@@thegoodridesnow Thank you! I ended up getting a killer deal on the Arcteryx Rush so went with that instead.
Wow you approve of the hood!? Damn this is tempting.
