I bought my Quantum Stylist a couple of years ago and I LOVE it, it’s the best sewing machine I’ve ever had. I’ve quilted huge quilts on it, made clothes and used all kinds of fabrics with no tension problems ever. All the different feet that come with it are great and I also purchased the Singer ruffler foot, it works perfectly. I definitely recommend this sewing machine 👍😊🏆🥇
I have had this machine 10 years and with regular oiling it is still working like it is box fresh, there are still so many things I haven't done with it. But I have made baby quilts, queen size quilts, napkins and clothing on it and it has never ever let me down!
I bought my 9960 last year (after been working on my Singer Fashion Mate for maaaany years) - and i love it🤩. The only teeny thing i wish it had, was an alarm (of sort) to indicate that the bobbin is soon empty. I dont know how many times ive been sewing thinking im at the end and then notice i have been sewing without the bobbin thread.... sigh... 😑
Its so much more enjoyable and easier to orient to when you are not using the squished screen. Thank you. There's a big learning curve here from my old Kenmore which I love and my mothers professional singer of yesteryear. I know a lot more from watching you tube tutorials and I am geeking out on your teaching.
I love the discovery with the little side black button I wondered why it was there fantastic it will be my new best friend great video👍💝 I’m from Sydney Australia
I have the Quantum Stylist 9960 And the Singer Heavy-duty 4423 plus The Singer 100th Anniversary Addition A Beautiful Black machine that looks almost like the old one my Mother and I had for a long time ago.
I have a Quantum 9940 which is very similar. I really haven’t explored it much but these videos are very helpful. I wish I could adjust the size of the printing so I could make little hat tags for my knitted newborn hats.
HI :) My mother bought her SINGER Quantum Stylist™9960 Sewing Machine, itś really great!! We have a problem using the Gathering foot. The question is how to do it right? We got it on the foot and if we start using it, it won't do any stitch. Should we press a number on the display or how does it work. Thanks for the help!!
I just bought mine last week Florida here ... slowly absorbing all these videos so I don't start any bad habits. It took a few tries to get the needle threader right so far and I repaired a tent and it worked great, very responsive. Love the auto cutting and the needle up down positions but that's as far as I got. Easy bobbin and threading and bobbin threading.
I have struggled with mine. Not sure how it happened but my tension is so bad and I am on the struggle bus to get it to be as wonderful as it should be. Any tips to share. I quit sewing due to this.
You might try different thread . I found it does not like cheap thread. You might also clean it good underneath . My eye site is getting worse I did not notice a clump of fuzz near the foot underneath . Just totally take the thread out and re thread . That is all the tips I have , oh a new needle . Hope something helps
What is a clearance plate? You do have to be able to raise the presser foot enough, right? Does this machine have enough room for that? My vintage Pfaff, for example does not raise as much as I would like in the jeans thick area situations.
I appreciate the information and advice given in this video. I've ordered a QS 9960 and can't wait for it to arrive, but I can't see the foot with the spring mentioned at @6:40 in the video. It's used for going over the thick seams of the denim. I want to make sure I get one of these feet if it's not included and would like to know what it's called and if I can order it on the Singer site. Thanks.
I purchased this machine used and they couldn’t find the feet that came with the machine beside the one universal foot. The buttonhole foot is missing and unfortunately I am unable to use other buttonhole feet successfully with this machine. I have looked for a replacement but they say discontinued on the Singer website. How can I acquire a buttonhole foot that is specific for this machine? It is unlike all others. Is there a different foot that will work for it properly?
Hi, I just purchased this machine and have a question. When using the auto tread cutter I have had to redraw up the bobbin thread. Is this normal? Thanks!!
I just bought this singer 9960 and the bobbin singer size 15 that is sold at Joan's has double layer plastic. They do not look like the flat tops bobbin that came with this machine ,well I m confused please help ?
Any idea how to fix the thread cutter on my machine? I've had it since 2019 and didn't even know it was able to cut the threads when I was done stitching until I saw a video about it. When I tried it I noticed that the cutter moved forward but didn't go back in its place so it's never worked.
Good morning, I have this machine and would like to know if it would fit the Gracie little table top quilting frame? I do not want to buy a different Sewing machine

When is singer coming out with a slim long presser foot like the one always seen with Judi machines on youtube videos.
I have struggled with mine. Not sure how it happened but my tension is so bad and I am on the struggle bus to get it to be as wonderful as it should be. Any tips to share. I quit sewing due to this.

Ronel. South AfricaI love my Machine
Can you please show the close up of the regular stitch
Can I use this sewing machine to make denim jeans? I would love to make my own pants for work and the outdoors! Thanks Singer…
Sure! Make sure you are using a denim needle and your clearance plate to make getting through the thickest seams easier. Have fun!-AK
What is a clearance plate? You do have to be able to raise the presser foot enough, right? Does this machine have enough room for that? My vintage Pfaff, for example does not raise as much as I would like in the jeans thick area situations.
How do you tie up the loose ends after cutting it from a stitch? Also if you cut between each letter won’t it make the stitch come undone?
My needle & wheel are both stuck while I was hemming a stretchy fabric’ any suggestion to fixing that issue?

The general purpose foot that comes with the 9960 has this feature!
Hi...did you find that foot with the spring...I'm trying to figure out what it's called and how to get it...Thanks...!
I have had to have my quantum stylist 9985 repaired and auto cutter still is hit and miss. Why. Thanks.

Does it embroider
The 9960 has decorative stitches but is not an embroidery machine.
I'm in the Philippines but we have 220v
I thought this machine was discountinued?
This machine is their BEST seller. However I own the 9985 which is a "Touchscreen" machine which is even better and I love ❤ it!! 💯🧵🪡🧵
Can you adjust the length of the stitch? Your stitch looks really short.

Hi Brenda! In this video, we shared highlights of how to use the Presser Foot Kit Bundle. Thanks for watching. -SR
It doesn't come with a presser foot???? U pay extra
In Australia 🇦🇺 this machine comes with 13 different feet as standard.
This machine comes with lots and lots of presser feets. Try and buy from the right source and you won’t be cheated out of them.
