I have finicky skin as well and watching someone who goes through their own struggles and seems to genuinely care about their followers & being responsible about what they put out there, I can never say enough good things to people about your channel. Especially to people struggling with acne, rosacea, etc.

Yesterday at a Winners (Marshals) store I found 3 Korean beauty products that have an ingredient list that sounds amazing! Its a Jumiso serum with 41% centella and 31% aloe, and COSRX snail cream and centella cream. Extremely soothing ingredients at high concentrations at the top of the ingredient lists. I am so lucky I found them! So if youre looking for good skincare check Marshals since these skincare are usually only sold online and not any other stores.

All I wanted to say was that when I opened it and the smell hit my nose, it took me a fat minute to recognize the smell. Hiya Cassandra! I wonder if you're the person to ask, probably so, even if you don't have very dry skin, but I have pretty dry skin, especially around the mouth, nose and cheeks, as well as possibly rosacea? around/on the cheekbones. I've been doing a lot of moisturizing those areas more recently (As I got into skincare again more recently, before that it was just cerave moisturizing lotion with spf and whenever my skin felt dry or the 2 hrs were up i'd reapply), Mainly with a water mister/pure water with a a bit of glycerin, as well as the ordinary marine hyaluronics before putting on the moisturizer. and now I suddenly seem to have a few red bumps that seem like break outs which I haven't had in forever. (I'm 39 currently). So I was wondering, can hydrating the skin cause the break outs, or would it simply be one of the ingredients I'd be reacting to and should I try switching to other products with the same function instead? or do I use like a aha/bha peel every so often, while keeping the hydrating step, as it does seem to help with the dry skin. (Skin is currently not as dry after washing my face. (Before it was like very flaky 15 mins after washing and drying, even if washing with only water in the morning), now it's still a little flaky, but defo not as much.
So anyway tl;dr can to much hydration cause break outs, is pretty much what I want to ask I suppose haha.

I know you like Perricone MD, but I've tried their Skin Brightening, Dark Spot Corrector Vitamin C as well as their Cold Plasma + and I disliked them immensely. My skin was at the worst its been with these products added. I don't have sensitive skin. I've used Skincyuticals (nope can't spell it) Vitamin C (agree its hot dog water and way too pricey), Sunday Riley Vitamin C, etc - lots of different brands. I use a retinoid almost nightly... I should have no issues, but Perricone is very clogging to me and I didn't love them. [For the record, I bought during Christmas sales, they were $25 and $99. I still don't think they're worth it.]
