🦋 You are beYoutiful inside and out; I love you!
As a stereotypical guy I don’t have a clue about skincare but I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I can finally contribute something! “D’alba” in Italian literally means ‘at sunrise’, and you’re right in saying it’s not “de alba”. Love your videos!
Would love to see a version of this for dry skin
Yes It doesn’t say if this is for oily skin only ?…
Ro from Beauty Within has very dry skin. I bet she has some good recommendations.
@@karenedwards3721 but most of her recs are for oily skin & super oily skin ..
@@juliestrasburg7947 I love to but most of their recs have fragrance so I don’t watch the channel as much bc of that. My skin can’t handle most fragrance ingredients
Tell me you didn’t watch the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video.
To be fair, Cassandra, I was watching this on my tiny screen at 4am so no I did not see dry shampoo in your hair babes 😘
Glowy looks hydrated plump skin looks pretty and makes skin look radiant and lighter while oily looks tired, deflated, oxidated looking skin
Cassandra, gurl! The price points of some of these things 🙇🏻♀️ can we get a budget version ($30 or less for all recs)?
Ah yes I love genetics facts. A while ago I heard somewhere that women of East Asian descent have more fat in their face. I mean I can kinda see that, the under eye fat is much thicker which is why I rarely see deep dark circles on them. In addition facial bone structure too, the flatter features cause less shadows, less angles. So that "even skin" is super genetic. And the smaller pores and less oil glands activity fact wow. I am saying this cause A LOT of those glass skin pictures are from women from East Asia, and while most people can achieve great skin, taking in account genetics is also important. For example I don't have a history with acne, so if I were an influencer and selling products for "my acne" it would be a bit misleading.
Thank you for the laughing and learning!!
Love you Cassandra 🤍🤍
You’re my favourite RUclipsr
Girrrrl your hair is looking gorgeous ✨
I didn’t notice the dry shampoo in your hair or the rip in your top. It wouldn’t matter what you were wearing as you always look fabulous and I love your vids. I have become a skin2lectual because of you!!! Thx
And I love that you are delving into kbeauty!! Have a wonderful day!! 🌸💕
Hahahaha Cassss I loved your reaction when you noticed the hole in the dress! Love you girl, stay as you are and give us even more Skincare videos! 🤗💜
Love the new hair!!
Love the dry shampoo look!
I just wanted to pour out some love and say how much I love your videos. Something about them makes me so excited about skin care and I feel like it’s a friend telling me things so it makes me happy when I’m feeling sad which is a lot. I buy vegan an cruelty free products most the time which is also why I like your channel. Tomorrow an online order arrives from The Ordinary so I got a few things from them so I’m so excited to try them, plus I ordered the purito barrier sleep pack which should come soon. Oh and I got the medicube microcurrent gel which I’m obsessed with. Before you I was mostly using an Australian brand Natio, which I like coz they are gentle and affordable and in most chemists in Australia and my skin seems to like them but I’m excited to try new things and become a skintillectual! I love that you have been talking about K beauty a lot lately too coz I didn’t know too much and I thought it would be hard work researching what is vegan. 🌱 ❤ thanks again
Honestly that dry shampoo was a vibe bc I though you got highlights!!!
Your hair looks amazing
Im inpressed in your videos keep it up
OMG 😩😩😩 that video arrived in time
Love you Cassandra
Thank you, Cassandra ❤
My skin is oily but if it’s dry or I use too many exfoliants my skin looks so shiny and greasy and feels dry. I always use thick hydrating products. I also like using matte primers to make my skin look matte even though I have a ton of moisturizer under it
Would like to see an updated video on affordable cleanser recommendations! I loved the Inkey list salicylic acid cleanser, but recently there are many reviews of the formula changing as there is a very horrible smell - I recently bought a bottle and was so disappointed at how much it reeked! Did something change?! Looking into the ordinary glucoside foaming cleanser to try instead.
I don’t understand the hype of the d’Alba spray - I’ve tried it before, and it did absolutely nothing for me. The I’m From Rice Toner is much better in my experience. It gives the skin an immediate, healthy glow.
which makeup do you recommend? for oily skin?, is there something really light you can´t feel it on the skin, something in k-beauty? 🌺🌺🌺🌺
Iderma makes a great Red Light Mask!
Cassandraaa!! Do you have a video on Strawberry Legs, Ingrown Hair and Keratosis Pilaris and how to treat them?!?!?!
A LOT of people suffer from it and would love to understand why it happens and how to treat it! How to get smooth legs, dotless/smooth skin in general?!
Please love, it would help so many out there out!! 🙏❤️✨️
which dry shampoos do you recommend? 🥰❤
Do a video on that bio mask!!
that video arrived in time
Hi Cassandra, some sunscreens make my kids faces breakout with tiny bumps , do you have any suggestions for good ones that might not.
Try a mineral sunscreen instead. It should fix the problem
Biore sunscreen from Japan is really good. They’re available from this site called Tok Tok Beauty. I think Biore has an American version as well now but I think the formulation might be a little different from the original. Regular American face sunscreen makes my face break out too. But the Biore one is night and light for my acne prone skin.
I love the idea but honestly, "glowy" still looks greasy to me... The only product that didn't look entirely greasy is the stick/balm
Same! I don't get it. All these influencers bragging about "glowy" skin and they all look like they spread a stick of butter over their face.
I just got the Centella Hyalu-Cica sunscreen and it's making me look extremely greasy. I'd be embarrassed going outside like that :(
My thoughts too. Natural finish is my goal, not glowy or satin. However, everytime I have put products who leave this glowly finish my man always end up saying " why you suddenly look oily and shiny?" 🙄 So technically people in general also think that glowly is similar as oily.
Oh good ANOTHER D’Alba sponser..
Yuri’s mask is the Matrigen Collagen Peel Off Mask, $40 on Amazon currently
hi!! i am an esthetician and i love your videos! i have been looking into chemical peels & was wondering if you had heard of or ever tried the medpeel brand! they seem to have a wide variety and i trust your judgement lol 😊
Wouod like to see affordable items for dewy skin. The prices here are insane.
I would like a video about Korean simple make up and suplements.
Ik the mist is full of fragrance, is there fragrance in the moisturizer?
I wonder if the study you mentioned about Chinese/african American also includes all Asian descent. Because I’m part Korean, my dad is half Korean, and MAN are we oily with massive pores!!
Hi! I have a question, is the cerave cleanser good for a 12year old cause I wanna buy it but idk if it would good for me.
I have very oily skin and that usually means oil in the t-zone and possibly other places. Glowy means your cheeks are glowing.
Fresh has that kind of cream with two compartments of gel and cream for a long time ago already
Hi Cassandra do you know Trifecta by the docteur KaramMD ? They seem to be very good products
Hey does Cassandra have another Channel? That has all her korea tours on it?
As an italian the fact that D'Alba is a korean brand, that says they use white truffles sourced in italy, and is getting so viral in the usa is kinda suspicious. No one in italy is talking about these products, not even the vegan - cruelty free creators. I trust you because this is not my expertise but still, I find it a bit strange
yh but brands like Cosrx and Boj is not popular in the countries they are sourced in. Like as far as im aware Koreans either never heard of or barely use cosrx products or beauty of Joseon products xxx maybe its the same with D'Alba
Not strange at all. Centella asiatica, pegaga in our language, is herb that grows around like weeds in Malaysia and used as salad for decades yet only recently being look up as skin soothing ingredients. Some entreprising youths make their own skin care brand yapping about cica but not realizing cica is the pegaga grown beside their homes.
As far as I know, D'Alba is based in Italy but the founders are Korean and apply concepts of Korean skincare to their formulations using Italian ingredients. I'm not a 100% sure ofc, but this is what I read back at the time I heard of the brand.
I mean, no one in italy is using anything besides whatever brands from the supermarket, small drugstores or that kiko/yves rocher crap. The average italian content creator, small or big, doesn’t show anything that wasn’t shown yet, only recycles content from foreign people.
D’Alba is just sourcing the truffles in Italy and showcasing the place of origin because 1) italy is big on truffles 2) anything european gives “credibility”, therefore they can inflate the price
@@2b01a01i never heard of Kiko but Yves Rocher is here and expansive! Aren't they good? Never use it, out of my ability to pay
i feel for my oily sisters as i grappled with it during my teenage years. but just wait, age and menopause will do their thing and poof! your skin is so dry that it can actually be painful. sigh! i wish i could stick around and see our society evolve enough so that we care about hygiene, but not vanity.
❤
Hi from one of your gay fans, absolutely love you, super helpful and funny. Voted for your friend ❤
Ok I'm worried to use matte sunscreen after using peter Thomas Roth max clear invisible primer sunscreen... I turned into a scaly monster 🦎 full dried out lizard for a week. Now I can't say that it was the sunscreen but only two things were different... the water in another town and the sunscreen. Now I get stinging with most sunscreens I don't get stinging with this which is why I bought it any idea why I would get that scaliness? It wasn't dry it was just part lizard or something. I just can't seem to find a sunscreen that doesn't irritate me. I spend most of my time out of the sun thankfully I work nights. I started just using mineral sunscreens like loose powder mineral sunscreen and I just tack it on top of moisturizer 😅 straight up drag queen baking my face in it and reapplying it constantly but I worry it's not enough coverage
So fun fact, D'Alba is apparently well liked by flight attendants and elder women due to D'Alba's products being good for dry skin.
It is also why the price is high.
Of course not la mer high but like above 20~30 bucks mark
How do you understand if you are dry or oily? Every single time I wash my face I’m horrifically dry and my skin turns into a little piece of paper I do my best to not move, and when i put all the ingredients at the end of the day I’m a walking oil bottle
u could be dry and oily
What is the stuff the girl in the video you mentioned wearing...the collagen something mask she peels it off?? I need that lol
it's called matrigen collagen mask.. reviews are a bit hit and miss... the glow isn't as intense as on that girl's video, and doesn't last
@@sandranogueira8525 oh ok thanks! That's disappointing lol but at least now I know. Haha 😁
Cass please convince D’Alba to make a FRAGRANCE FREE LINE 😭 I want to love their products but fragrance is way too strong
I have super oily skin. I just want it to be matt (not too dry) all day long, 24/7, 365 days🤣
I only wash my face with tepid water and stay out of the sun. I have fantastic skin and look 25 years younger than my peers. Two thin crows feet at 55 ain’t bad 🤷🏻♀️
"Elevatione? It must be Italian!" (sorry...I'll see myself out...)
Not for me . Turmeric allergy 😢
I wonder when D’Alba created that last product you mentioned. It looks like they copied the concept from a company named Boring Without You…
You have dry shampoo in your hair! :D
and ??
@rhileynnna im pretty sure it's a reference to what Cass herself said in the vid.
@@heartbeat7488 LOL oohhh just got there 🤣 my apologies. Thought someone was comin at our cass
Are the sunscreens reef safe? Not have the ingredients been banned. Are they actually safe? I ask because your own sunscreen isn't.
I don't think there is any reef safe sunscreen. I try to limit how much I use and wear long sleeves and big hats instead. I have a lightweight dive suit for swimming.
No sunscreen is "reef safe". If you want to protect the ocean, stick to the land, mammal. Zinc oxide and titanium oxide (both chemically inorganic, btw) are the natural sugar babies of the sunscreen world and both are wildly deleterious to reefs.
@evamei9030 thank you for posting this. Most people just read the various bad marketing, bad scare tactics, bad info and spread false info.
$19 for a tiny mask is not affordable for most
$380 for 2oz for the White Truffle gel/cream?! Come on..that's just mean.
Wut? That was the La Mer cream price…
@derBrasilianeRxD are you sure? She was showing the price on the website while she was talking about it. It was describing the 2 oz. White truffle gel/cream moisturizer. I could be wrong, but I don't see the point of showing another brand's site whilst promoting the product she was showing us at the time. Doesn't make sense.
Well.. Yes, I’m sure. The price of the d’Alba moisturizer is on display as she starts to talk about it ($45). She makes an comparison with the La Mer moisturizer texture and while doing so, she showed the La Mer website with the $380 La Mer price (it clearly says La Mer on top btw) I find really hard to believe you missed that, specially as you came back here. Doesn’t make any sense
I will not notise a break in your tshirt if you didnt mantion. Relax who cares. Thank you.
