Two things I want Jared to bring back:
1. The "I'm playing ___" bit.
2. The credits. There was just something awesome about hearing one last clever joke and then hearing the theme music. It was much better than the silence that happens now.

The negative reviews are always the most amusing.
It's the rule of thumb in game reviewing. Most of the time, the negative always seems to overshadow the positive.
I like to see good games get bashed on, Yahtzhee is really good at that on Zero Punctuation

They can be destructive, yeah, but Mario is the only one who regularly kills hundreds (maybe thousands) of Mushroom Kingdom people on every adventure by breaking so many bricks.

I'm going to be honest and say that I'm not super fond of the direction Jared is going. It seems like he's trying more to be wacky and funny like PBG, instead of staying true to himself and being serious about reviewing the game, which is the reason I loved him in the first place.

Regardless of what fans think about those games that's hardly true, for those games sold really well. Lightning Returns was the 8th most sold game in February 2014.

Glueboy Nope. All in the same universe. Or Multiverse I guess. For example Final Fantasy X canonically takes place long before Final Fantasy VII, as in Final Fantasy X-2, there is a character named Shinra that is working on finding a way to use the planet's natural energy as a fuel source. A.K.A The Mako reactors in Final Fantasy VII, owned by the Shinra company.
Or it could be just a reference to FF7.
Each game has its own universe, the character Gilgamesh confirms this by travelling to different dimensions AKA different Final Fantasy where he always tries to find the most powerful swords.
It's kind of a "what if ?" situation : every dimension have behemoths, Ifrit, chocobos and all, but in different shapes and roles because of the different environments and fates the dimensions have.
In FF7 the Shinra company is already using the planet's life force as energy, while in FFX, the young Shinra discovers the power the planet has.
Tamaeth Hematophagous Actually, fun fact, the only two games directly connected that aren't direct sequels are 6 to 7. In six they straight up name drop the ff7 planet in a conversation as theyre discussing the reactor plan set in motion for it so humans can colonize. After Kafka leaves the land destitute they start to rebuild in ff7's world, which hundreds-thousands of years later, ff7 begins.
It looks very similar to final fantasy 1
Now all we need is Queen’s Knight and Jack’s Knight and we can sacrifice those three to summon Slifer the Sky Dragon. That is seriously what I thought of when I saw the title of the game.

They did. I think it was to promote Royal Edition, but King's Knight was eventually turned into a real mobile game.

I looked up the origin of Wiz Khalifa's stage name, and was actually a little disappointed to find out it wasn't related to this game.
There is actually a reference to this game in Final Fantasy 15. Prompto has a line of dialog where he will say there journey is like Kings Knight because there are 4 of them. Hearing that line is actually what made me want to come back and watch this video. Now if only we could get some more Hydlide games for ProJared to play.

came from the MTACAST you did today. I remember this game and put many hours into it, I had all three discs but alas, computers changed and the support for the game didnt. it was amazing to see it again and I want to thank you for bringing it up for me to see, maybe for the last time in my life.

Don't know who will see this but, in Final Fantasy XV King's Knight is a in universe phone game which Noctis,Prompto and Gladiolus play when they rest at caravans sometimes, its a cool easter egg

It should be worth noting that Square didn't make this game; it was a company called Workss/Bits Laboratory. They were the same developer who made the NES version of Ghostbusters. Not to be confused with Bits Studios, which also made crappy NES games.
