Great video. Thank you for sharing your story. I just got to a year, and i feel like a totally new person who's unlocked motivation i never knew existed. But, I can't believe how much energy I have to dedicate to making others comfortable with my decision not to drink. My resolution for year two is to stop caring about the fee!ings of those who are bothered by my choice.
Well done man! 18 months tomorrow I’ve had big ups and downs though it all so far but I’m still here. I’m in the program and I think that’s been really helpful to fully understand why I drank like I did. I wouldn’t have been able to stay clean and sober without it. Thank you for you tips, tricks and experiences. They would be really helpful for a new comer. It’s always handy to keep it in the day if you are struggling It’s much easier to fight the battles of just one day than the dread of what tomorrow may bring!
Great story and great tips! I was a beer drinker (sober now 6 months after 40 years of drinking) and moved to Non alcoholic beers. Some are decent - but I found seller water was better. One funny note - sometimes I would wake up and think "oh man I've got a hangover" them remember I didnt drink the night before - then feel fine. And yea - a shitload more time! Aloha and hope you and all your followers can hang on to their sobriety!
Great to hear Kenw9438! well in on the 6 months! 🙌🏼 Agreed the waters are the way to go! Hahaha, the relief after realising there was no hangover must have been great! Keep it up 💪🏼
