I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to computers, but having such direct and easily followable instructions is so convenient. Thanks for all your hard work!
Chrono trigger was the initial game that got me into emulation a long time ago, over ten years. Back then i found fantasy anime which still has great tutorials. Glad your vids are just as helpful.
Thank you sir. I’ve been half heartedly trying to figure this out for years and was finally about to play games I haven’t played in over 20 years!!! This is awesome
Something to add: If you're having trouble with mapping your controller inputs, make sure your controller is connected _before_ you start SNES9x up or it will get funky and not detect/map the way it should. I almost had a stroke with my PS5 controller, but sifted around and found that information out. Great guide, thank you for such a detailed explanation.
Yo bro, thanks for the guides. But does this works on 2 players setup on 1 keyboard? I have 110 games for SNES collecting dust on my phone and I want to take my little newphews for a spin. Thanks for the reply.
Maybe I'm just missing something, but I don't see a 2024 emulator setup video for the NES or regular Playstaton on your channel. Perhaps I went past it. I don't know. But I need those. So far, I got the ones for SNES & PS2, and they are extremely helpful. Do you have videos for the other two?
I'm having issues when configuring my Xbox One controller. It makes my mouse freak out and get stuck on the top of my screen until I close the emulator or unplug the controller....
I hate this emulator, it keeps trying to open everything as a Rom file when I don't even have the emulator anymore. :( Edit: I redownloaded the emulator and changed file associations and it's fixed
If the file is yellow it is .zip means windows can already extract it if it is blank then it is a .7zip file means you do need 7zip to extract the file
The only way to get SNES roms “legally” is to have a real cartridge to rip the ROM from it yourself. Otherwise just buy games from Steam and if they’re not available on there, then you must sail the seven seas.
@yomother69 You do understand that he makes videos for people who do not understand how to set this up right? If you are already familiar with it, why are you even watching this video, and it's not outdated since he is using the latest version SMH.
@@UrCasualGamer hey mate keep making these videos man I appreciate it you get me, and what I like about your videos specifically is that you always try your best to go in depth as much as you possibly can as to make it easy to understand even so that a beginner can comprehend right, so with that being there's always going to be a first for someone else wanting learn how to setup an emulator right and hopefully they see your videos and appreciate it, big up your damn self mate and keep these tutorials coming peace✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@@andrealexander6077 Thank you, and yes, the point of me making these videos is for the newcomers. But there's always one person that already has the emulator set up that wants to make a stupid comment 🤣😂
I'm new to emulation and I appreciate every video you have been putting out. You make it so easy to understand for newcomers like me.
Glad to help!
Me too his videos are the reason why I game in emulation

It's easier to WALL and BOMB jump with Snes9x.
Naturally, Chrono Trigger is what I was look for an emulator to play!
Perfect explanation 🎉
hey, great and clear guide! With the Pro Controller does it have to be Bluetooth or can I use USB connection with a wire?
Is there a way to have both the d-pad and analog active at the same time? Thanks for all your videos, man. Always a help!

Great now I have someone controlling my every move with a Switch Controller. Thanks @UrCasualGamer
I can't set up my controller, try to set up a button and the emulator select any other button from my keyboard
I have the same problem

So once i set all this up can i use it in launch box so it looks nice and pretty ? And will it save my configuration ?
i dont have the vulkan option.. weird
Quick question can you make all that on a fire stick?
Isn't the desktop version of Snes9x outdated compared to its mobile counterpart? It's still a great emulator, though.
👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I can get the rom just fine but it doesn’t have sound keeps unable to initialize XAudio2 ?
Me too. Did you ever figure it out
what if the second controller \will register the input but not work when playing games?
I keep getting an error saying, "Unable to initialize XAudio2..." and I'm not able to hear anything when I play...
How do I enable both analog control & D-Pad with this emulator? 😮
My second controller wont work for some reason.
I fullscreened the emulator and now my screen won’t show nor my mouse so idk what to do
is there an snes emulator that can do fullscreen like nestopia?
First
How to use load multicart?

Audio can get choppy anyway to fix that?
im running this emuator but im not getting audio
I hope this works with PS4 or Xbox controllers...
is it possible to run the snes menu ?
How can I save the game?
well i don't know why i'm so stupid but mine doesn't show a file folder on my desktop
wait i'm making progress!
If only I knew how to actually play a game with it, just black screen....
Will i get locked up if i download some roms ? I was gonna but i got spooked
I think you will be safe. Theres tons of us out here doing it

Anybody know any legit websites where you could purchase roms legally?

Zsnes was always better
god smoothing options are fucking awful 90% of the time
Honestly, just read your videos. Some of these info is out dated man. I seen better vid that keep with the times.
