Great video, thanks for rehydrating and cooking them up. I was wondering how they would do.

Thank you for showing us how to dehydrate eggs I was just wondering how long it took

Hi.. I believe I cover this in the video, but basically 14-18 hours, depending on thickness of trays. The thinner the coat and more even your trays are, the less time it takes to dehydrate. God Bless ❤

I am interested how long would they last if you would vacuum seal the jar of powdered eggs?

@@karenlanclos6209 When vacuum sealed in a jar with an oxygen absorber added and kept in a cool dark place, the eggs would be good for 5 to 10 years. ❤️

Does the temperature of the day affect the result?

No, I do not think it matters. The dehydrator will stay at the same temperature you have it set to, so outside air temp should not affect it. God Bless ❤

I’ve never heard of using an oxygen absorber and a silica together

I have always used them both in the Mylar bags to ensure the best in order to keep the air and moisture out. I never want to take chances with salmonella or botulism. ❤
