Oh man, when that bridge first started going up I was like I hope nothing falls off that bridge and then the bottle had a direct strike, hah. I''ve seen all kinds of stuff fall from those including a entire streetlight!
Yeah man, that was wild that it hit his tripod think it was last year I saw a worker get taken away by an ambulance because some sort of tool fell off a bridge they were doing work on. But I think seeing an entire stoplight fall off takes the cake.
@@LapseLifeProductions I remember you mentioning that. I've also seen a huge raccoon scampering under one when shooting a lift from underneath.
I was so pissed haha one tiny bottle hitting one leg of the tripod. I had to cut the last 2 seconds of the timelapse. But it's okay I had enough for that first one.

Tellement sympa ces timelapses ! Voir ces couleurs, le traffic, les petits qui s'écartent au dernier moment pour laisser passer les gros. Beau travail ! Et le coup de la bouteille n'a pas posé de problème ?
Ça m'a donné une image floue et ça a bougé la caméra un peu vers la droite, donc ce n'était pas vraiment réparable. J'ai juste supprimer les 2 dernières secondes du timelapse. haha je m'en sors pas trop mal!

J’y suis allée en Avril 2019 et j’ai eu la chance de voir la 1ere levée des ponts après l’hiver glacial . Cela a pris un peu de temps sur les 1ers à cause de la glace . Un beau moment et la 2eme fois dans mon séjour il a neigé !!!

@@EmericTimelapse Well i had a sort same experience like you had with doing timelapses, there was a big drop in doing TL-jobs and when lockdowns do hit all became silent. No one around means no motion(s). Beside TL photography i also do SV-photography in co with Google.

Pretty cool place for some timelapses! The end result was astonishing! Very good! Can i ask you just one question? When you work in After Effects to use the RAW files and export them to .MOV, what is the color space you work in your project and in the export setting? Do you set it all to Rec709? sRGB? Thanks!
Incredible capture, Emeric. What a payoff for the planning and composition and readiness with your setup. Always so nerve-wracking that a mistake could happen. Congrats! Tried to see your settings - 1 second interval on the intervalometer? I couldn't see your shutter speed but guess you go for 1/2 sec? How do you manage the dark time? Again, incredibly beautiful artwork.
Glad you enjoyed it! I was shooting at 1.5" interval and 0.5" shutter speed, so 1" dark time is all good. I can go down to 0.4" dark time maximum with my gear.

Amazing, as always! So was that 1s interval and 0.5s exposure, for that smooth, silky look ?
The first one was shot with my Panasonic at 2", second one with 5D IV at 1.5" interval haha and the second bridge was 1" interval yes!
To all my Nikon shooting friends out there: Don't waste so many memory cards; one of the greatest advantages of Nikon for time-lapse is the ability to shoot in 12-bit lossy NEF! The files are barely larger than the highest quality JPG, and yet Nikon's raw compression is truly the best in the business, you'll see virtually zero difference between it and 14-bit lossless. (I test this stuff for my job, lol)
