I'm sure we've all likely been there -- wanting to do what God is calling us to do but just not entirely certain WHAT that is! hey, sis!! let's chat -- today's question is: what is one word that you would use to describe God's voice? It's an amazing reminder to us all how individual and unique God speaks to us, so let us know in the comments!
for me: God's voice is quiet. Hearing from God for me, most times, requires a certain amount of stillness and sitting at His feet -- silently lol.
Soothing usually, but I’ve heard it in other ways depending on the situation.

For me it's very gentle, kind, and loving, it is familiar, and his voice also comes through the people around me which is so amazing😭😭😭

there's organization of people who get together to stalk and harass individuals all day. I'm one of those people. This stalking and harassing has been going on for years. At this point in my life, theyre so desperate for any reaction the moment i get out of bed they start bombarding me with covert/passive-aggressive harassment tactics. For example, the moment i get out of bed they'll start causing the fridge(yes the fridge) to make these tapping/clicking noises. And whenever i finally eat, the fridge would stop making those noises. They'll remotely taunt me in this manner for hours. Along with tenants illegally watching me to know when i'm done doing something to slam car door, or resort to some type of vehicle noise instantly after. The more i ignore their obnoxious behaviors the more noticeable they get. I mean you sense this desperation from these demonic narcissist trying harder to provoke any negative reaction. They literally use numerous different strangers to poke at me constantly. If you're a targeted individual you'll truly relate. @@vshah1010 That's what the word (The Holy Bible) is. It was recorded (written) and documented by scribes. Also, some people do audibly hear the voice of God and it's a beautiful revelation.
God's voice to me is: Gentle. Unobtrusive. Patient. Humorous in a friendly, down-to-earth sort of way. :)

God's voice is consistent and reassuring, when God is speaking to me I know it's him mostly because his voice is full of truth that never backs down.

The thing is we all as His kids, head God. But we don’t always discern it, Bcs it’s hard to discern at times I admit, but we gotta stay in the Word Bcs we get to know Him and it tuned us into His frequency in a way and gives us more sensitivity to His voice
One word I would say is direct. When God speaks you will know that he is speaking to you because the message can't be compared for someone else. It will resonate in your heart .

The one word I would use is clear. When God is steering you in a particular direction, it is amazing how He orchestrates all the necessary pieces to fall into alignment to see His purpose through. 🙏🏾

The Lord’s voice is ENCOURAGING. PATIENT. COMFORTING. LOVING. PEACEFUL. RIGHTEOUS. GUIDING… I could go on, as there are so many one words I could share. This is clearly my message for the week, knowing the voice of God is within me. It was revealed to me about two days ago, I shared the same understanding with my sister last night, and she herself has been noticing when it’s actually God’s voice. And now your video on this very same realization. This is surely what the Lord wants me to know; that all along certain thoughts and feelings are clearly not of him, so yes let’s send them back to the sender indeed. Have a blessed day everyone. Bible Bible and more Bible, sometimes when I pray, I'd feel some cool air and I'd sometimes wonder if that was God(The holy spirit) and today he pointed me to Genesis 3:8 "When the cool evening breeze were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the Garden......" when I read that part I just threw my hands on my head and Thanked God for this revelation because also I didn't feel fear but It was just."weird" 😅but yah God is Alive and Living

I’m so glad you stated this!! I am blown away because I’ve experienced this plenty of times in my room and would look around like maybe I’m exaggerating. I would always feel peace immediately after the breeze. I’ve even seen my curtains move before and my ceiling fan no air was on..He’s absolutely AMAZING 🥹😍👏🏽
one word to describe God's voice in my life is guiding. I rely on God so much in my decision-making process. I always pray for God to guide me when I'm indecisive

Yes! This is how he speaks to me❤ and I’m just now starting to read the Bible and I could be going through a situation and in desperate help of the Lord. And a verse pops up in my head that I have never heard before or read before. And it makes so much sense. It brings peace. God is so loving!! It actually happened like an hour ago😂

I have always thought the voice of God sounds more grandfatherly. Wise, patient, calm, gentle, caring, warm, loving, soft spoken, few words but clear meaning. I often get a sense that God is saying to me something along the lines of you really shouldn't have done that but I still love you.
I would describe God’s voice in many ways because when he speaks to me I feel calm, peaceful,loved and joyful. Because sometimes we get in our own way. Thank you for this video it’s really on time ❤

Sometimes I feel like I just got a clear message from God to do something. So I start to do it. And then when it gets difficult, I tell myself it was my own mind that told me to do it, not God. Then I stop doing what I was supposed to do. Then I feel like such a failure.

@@a.v.6158 That’s an interesting concept. Yeah, it wouldn’t apply to me because I struggle with basics like regularly praying. The other day I felt like I got a clear message to stay off of social media for a week. Then told myself it was all my idea. And a later the same day was scrolling Instagram.
I would describe God's voice as fatherly. He can speak in loving and supportive ways, and in ways that can convict our behavior and thoughts. But mostly He wants to be heard and to hear us -- to be in relationship with us! 🙌🏾
God's voice is a gift. Not everyone can decipher or hear the messages God sends our way. For me receiving his messages is touch and go.
If a woman drops a something in front of me by "accident", or appears following something I did, or has some other correlations with my prior actions, I understand what it means, and I am _sure_ what the message is. It means that it's my time to approach her.
God can easily do a sign that an individual would understand.

Joyful . It’s like hearing a word from him and then repeatedly seeing it every where. It is relentless and very encouraging. To a point to all you can say is “Yes LORD!!”
How do you know if you are actually seeing signs (random or unexpectedly) versus seeking out what you believe God is communicating to you?
For me, God’s voice is a overwhelming flow of love and affirmation! It is his deepest desire for us to hear him however, hearing him above all the other noise is perfected through intimacy.
I have listened to this post 4 times already! It is so true about the enemy coming in at the same time every time. He studies us to try to trip us up in our weakest moments every time! Amen, "return to sender"!!

I pray that you remember that GOD is a loving gracious GOD. HE is patient and kind with you. If you could receive GOD'S grace and know that He forgives you, hopefully you can accept His forgiveness towards you so that you can forgive yourself and release the bitterness from your life. Yes, this is my experience. As firm and confident as a lion, yet as calm and peaceful as a gentle breeze ❤
**PERSISTENT** God's word is soft, but meaningful. He speaks to me in pieces, like a puzzle, cuz I like such games. And I appreciate that, it allows me to focus; renewing my life one category at a time. The message that God sends me is holistic. I feel called toward a standard, ethic and philosophy of Divine Love. If ever His word is loud, I presume that I am meant to really pause and dissect the directions that I am in resistance of; for obedience truly molds my free spirit into a purposeful soul.
This is exactly what I needed to hear today.

Heartwarming, timely, and reassuring. I usually see things on social media, on youtube, or people will send me reels on instagram; all I can say is that each time I see a video, it speaks to my exact situation. God always reminds me that He's there, and that He is in fact listening to me when I cry out to Him.

According to me, I would describe God’s voice as gentleness. He is so sweet, understandle. He is not judgy but very patient and willing to help his children.
Gods voice..can be very reassuring and loving..yet his voice can also stop me in my tracks..it can also have weight.
In my time of worship and prayer he gives me songs, I enjoy singing to him. And then just the right moment he will bring me to a scripture or a text no matter how many times I’ve read it before. He never ceases to amaze me❤️.

I really thought maybe I wasn't His child bc I couldn't hear Him. One day sitting outside I heard Him singing Sheep in the pasture. I asked is that you? He said yes my child. And He said I am the good shepherd! Wow He was singing in such a loving even joking and teasing way...like when I was asking Him He kept on when it made me.giggle he kept singing! It was amazing. I want to hear that clearly again...but im thankful I heard that even once...I mean He is GOD of the universe!!! How amazing is that!! “Swaying” his voice is like the wind that makes me sway, like wheat in a field. He is gentle and pulls me closer to Him, though He is quiet, I can’t help but bend to his call.
It has just hit me!! Whenever I’m struggling to know whether it is the voice of God or satan, I should be thinking of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), God is the fruits of the spirit. He is loving, brings peace, joy, gentle, good etc.😊
Faith , when God is testing me , when God is using me , when God is blessing me. It’s always the word faith that is reminded me that God is speaking to me.
I would choose TIMING… God has always been there for me looking back at my past and present struggles. His TIMING was always perfect for His teachable process. 🙏🏽

Gods voice shows up for me with the gift of vision, his vision he has for me, my family and my future.

There were times in chastisement when His voice was elevated but not yelling and I knew he meant business.

the word i would describe is 'ease' when I'm questioning, overthinking, getting angry, or paranoid or anxious, his voice is like a tonic and cuts through the noise.

God's voice is a silent touch to my soul. I know God is talking to me when I have a feeling within me. It's not an actual voice or even my own thoughts thinking something, it's like he planted a thought into my head or soul and I know it's him because it's never a bad thought or request of me.

The still small voice and the random positive thoughts I truly believe are from the Lord.

I’d describe God’s voice as “Direction” every time I’m unsure or need direction and pray to him, he guides me through dreams. Always always!! It might be in forms of parables or straight forward sometimes but it’s always a dream.
For me God voice is affirming. I am in a waiting season which can be hard at times but his word is the truth, the way and the life which gives me strength and courage to keep moving. He is faithful.
He's constantly reassuring me and I ask him the same questions multiple times an hour lol. His patience is amazing.

It’s hard to describe.. but it’s loud, clear but quiet and usually confirmed up with a verse, random conversation, or a message soon after
Like many have said, when I heard God's voice, it was so gentle, so calming. Even though I was a total wreck just seeking answers from Him and He really came through. Even though what He told me wasn't what I was expecting, I knew that I could trust that He would provide for me in this season. I was already crying when I was seeking Him, soon as I heard His gentle response, I cried even more because so much peace just flooded me. I felt like someone took a back pack of rocks off my back.
I’ll hear a whisper cut me off in the middle of my thoughts, sometimes it gets confusing between my voice and the enemy’s voice.
So God will talk to me through outside conversations, tv shows, songs that pop in my head sometimes a loud and or gentle voice whenever I’m about to do something unhelpful.

Honestly I would say peace and love because of what I experienced recently. Times are tough lately for me my family and I and I just felt so hopeless the other day, I was about to cry about it as well; but recently I started reading the book of Job and while sitting in the car with my boyfriend in complete silence because both our households are in financial difficulties I all of a sudden realized why I was guided to the book of Job. When I realized that I felt immediately peace and love and gratitude
This was on time for me I know God has been speaking to me he has also heard my prayers. We are in communication the lines are open. I hear him and he hears me. And he has been all in my business. I’m so honored to be his daughter.
This is so good and so sound! Thank you for sharing! ❤ one word to describe God’s voice is powerful. God spoke to me three times…the first time I didn’t know it was Him until He fulfilled the prophecy three weeks later. The second time it was while I was crying out to Him in the night and He firmly spoke to my heart. Then, He spoke a third time a couple months later regarding my husband. All three words were consistent and part of the process and season I’m currently in, but because this word seemed utterly insane I began to wonder if this was indeed the Lord. Being a Bible College graduate, I knew the ONLY way for me to know is by me POURING into His Word to hear His voice. I had not read His Word with consistency since I married my husband 14 years ago and it had been a heart cry of mine for God to bring me back into that discipline. I’m here to say that I’ve read at least 12 full books of the Bible since March and that includes Job, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Ecclesiastes, and a lot more little books. He did for me what I could not do for myself when He spoke to me. He knew what would light the fire under me! To Him be the glory! I am so excited for what He is doing ❤
It was the first time I heard his word through his words, he gave me a verse in the Bible, the voice came twice as the first time I did not wake up and the second time I heard the voice giving me the same verse to read. Later I woke up and read the verse... With my situation then reading the verse God was clearly talking and directing me what to do...
I find Gods voice in silence. fully aware and in his presence. Even when the silence is a sad silence, if not especially when it is. Away from the noises or the world and distraction.
I hear God as an intuitive inner knowing that gives me gentle correction, peace, joy, and clear direction. He literally guides my steps. I learned about you because He led me here and that’s honestly how it works with me. It’s one of the most remarkable experiences and I sincerely believe that it will only get better as I grow/build my relationship with Him. I literally have moments where it feels like he’s giving me warm, spiritual hugs. I feel blessed and loved.
It’s so worth it to know Him.
I’m in a season of my life where it’s all about Him. I’m grateful to serve. I just want to do what He wants me to, whatever His will is for my life and I’m so content in that. 💚

There use to be days where my life seemed so hard to me that I wanted to just lay down and die.
Now all I want to do is live and I truly want everyone to know Christ and fight for their right to live an amazing life that Jesus died to give them. 💯🙏🏽🙌🏽
For me: God's voice is always encouraging while the enemy and I have battles of fearful thoughts and doubt. The Holy Spirit is constantly reminding me to depend on The Lord and not what I think my own capability is.
As a Brother in Christ, I want to say continue to take up territory for the Kingdom of God Sis ...you are a God send ....you teach and exhort with ease this is an amazing presentation of the Word of God ....To God Be THE GLORY!

Gods voice is definitely “consistent “
To me, Gods voice is loving. I have felt His correction and I didn’t feel afraid. I felt loved and empowered to take the step He was asking me to take.
