FUN FACT: mark ronson got interested in miley because of this cover when she sang it on SNL. he got obsessed with her voice and said he passed years trying to get in touch with miley, and when that happened they recorded Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, which is honestly a bop.

Unlike a lot of modern singers, this girl has a solid music history education, she's been exposed to so much music, not just the hits. You can tell she's having fun.
Ironically, she blows the roof of everything I've heard/ seen her cover. However I find her original work to be marginal at best.

Paul Simon obviously wrote the tune, we all know that...and there have been many BAD covers of this iconic song - never used to be a fan much of Miley, but i gotta say, her enthusiasm especially on the chorus when she comes alive...man she's smiling, she's enjoying the moment, her vocals are pretty much on point, and this was actually a damn good version. Naturally there will be many who will disagree just because it's Miley, but i say nice cover, and she's found a new fan!

The Steve Gadd lick on this song is legendary. This guy is only drumming half of it and it's a travesty. You can treat this song however you want but you never ever mess with the drums.. they were perfection the first time around and can't be improved upon.
