This scene makes me feel like the writers didn't have any idea how to end this. The Enchantress has God like powers but decides to engage them in a physical fight? Then Harley Quinn does that almost stupidly clichéd trick? Then the slow motion? It's just a mess.
Harley Quinn always win fights even against big enemies with dumb tricks like that for comedy purposes of course (in her comics at least). But here ???it was just straight up bullshit, I love Harley but enchanteress is one of the most powerful vilain there is she could have killed every single member of the suicide squad in a minute if they didn't nerf her that bad
I love that Enchantress was just playing with them. Once she got serious, she disarmed them with a wave of her arm so it's clear that she could have killed them all easily if she wanted to. Luckily for the Suicide Squad, she dropped her guard because she didn't really think they were a threat. None of them would have stood a chance if Enchantress was using her full power. The only one who might have been able to hold his own was Diablo, but he had to sacrifice himself to defeat her less powerful brother so even he would probably have been overwhelmed.
Honestly he wouldn’t. In rebirth shes freaking powerful, Defeated the justice league or half of them including Diana, Cyborg and Superman like nothing with only the swarm of flying teeth, She can stop time completely AND reverse it by Harley’s command, shes also the only one that can actually subdue Zod aka Superman powered kryptonian with the strategy mind like Batman who Zod made sure many times to go after her first. So theory she can even stol the justice league on her own in this movie if she showed her true potential.

She didn't see them as a threat, she kinda leads to that when she does her whole speech thing at 1:41 so she was pretty much just toying with them as a test or just for amusement

The villain is just to dull and has a lack of conviction. I don't know much about Enchantress, but she seemed to be pretty powerful so I don't get why she didn't kill at least one person herself.

I think Cara Delevingne was actually very good as Enchantress, especially considering her limited screen time and the fact that Suicide Squad as a whole isn't very good. I think this is partially because she's also worked as a model so she knows how to make full use of her body language. Sometimes Enchantress moves like a frightened child, sometimes she moves like a seductive siren and sometimes she moves like an animalistic monster and it all works within the context of which scene she's in and also which form she's wearing. Nostalgia Critic once mocked her hula dancer like movements but you've got to consider the context that Enchantress isn't used to manipulating a human body. She's been a ghost in a jar for centuries so of course her motor skills are a bit rusty.
No. She is a terrible villain with a weak as hell motivation and the hula dancing is just cringey and doesn’t make for an intimidating villain. It doesn’t matter where your background is, they needed to make this villain somewhat compelling and powerful and she was none of that.
I just wonder why her outfit is so revealing. I'm not sure, but from what I've seen, she's fully clothed in the comics. Really hope they weren't just taking advantage of Cara.
enchantress can move objects but decides to not move the hearts of all that stand before her, out of their chest. batman is the best earth detective and nothing thats going to destroy the world is going to be off hes raidar just like all the comics and good movies and cartoons. and who cant simply see all that electricity in the sky and were its coming from? batman has his own space satellites. Lets just be honest. the script writers simply didn't have time to fix most of the plot wholes do to their very short time they were given to finish the movie.

The problem I had with the Enchantress in this movie is we never see her do much beyond teleport around the place. Don't get me wrong the giant lightning thing is cool and all and an excellent display of her power, but she never does smaller stuff like in the comics, like making force fields or freezing people in ice or even shooting (smaller) bolts of electricity as an offensive measure. She felt horribly underutilized given her role in the film.

Just for reference - at 1:17 Deadshot is shooting a regular handgun, not a semi-auto. He is just squeezing the trigger repeatedly so fast that it looks like auto fire. And every bullet is on target. Deadshot is insanely powerful.

this is not about the cameraman. The whole mess was because off the director. If a cameraman does a poor job, he is replaced immediatly. but a bad director is way much more complicated to replace.
Enchantress really was well created. I loved the look of the character, and her unbelievably 'other-worldly' powers. Looked great, just the movie failed to have a punch.

I don't think Bruce Wayne has contact with the Flash in these events. You can see by the end of the movie he meets up with Waller and she gives him all the info on the "Meta-humans" Which Barry is a part of. Bruce knows about him but hasn't made any contact yet.
They managed to stretch three seconds of Harley throwing a gun to Deadshot so that he could blow up the weapon into an *85 SECOND SLOW-MO SHOT.* Even Zack Snyder found this excessive.
Can i just say that although the plot was really weird for this movie, the costumes were amazing, I loved this version of enchantress, although her second form is really cool. Some people were complaining about harley's outfit cause it was too showy but i liked it, would like to see her use the jester costume one day though

I think the reason why Deadshot saw his child is probably because of Enchantress. I don't know much about Enchantress and what she can do, but, this answer sounds pretty fitting to me. I think the reason was that Enchantress could've actually had this power where she could dug up people's memories. When she did, she found the child and used it to Deadshot as a manipulating device. or like the Justice League Dark, would have been way cooler in my opinion, and maybe perhaps more contained since these people are better equipped in dealing with magic. I don't know, I had a feeling Enchantress would have shined more with JLD as a wildcard and not as a main villain. She's an interesting character, reminds me more of Scarlet Witch than her Enchantress Marvel counterpart. If done right, she could have had the same popularity as Scarlet Witch. Unstable and powerful and all that jazz.

Enchantress was really cool. Wish she wasn't the antagonist but rather fought alongside the suicide squad and Flag. Would of liked to see the relationship develop with enchantress caring for those that "worship her" changing to just those who love her. She can kill good people but still cares for Rick and the suicide squad

His powers seem to be very similar to Marvel's Ghost Rider, in that he wields supernatural fire and can see the sins of those who are guilty, as well as super strength and durability.

Don't know why people hated on this film it actually was pretty awesome would have been epic if the revealed Jared Leto's Joker to be Jason Todd inspired by The Phoenix Joker . That would have added to the lore of Harley being an "accomplice " to the death of Robin and making the "jokes on you" quote spray painted on the burned up Robin suit come full circle...Warner Bros should let me get a writing gig lol

this is not about the cameraman. The whole mess was because off the director. If a cameraman does a poor job, he is replaced immediatly. but a bad director is way much more complicated to replace.
Enchantress really was well created. I loved the look of the character, and her unbelievably 'other-worldly' powers. Looked great, just the movie failed to have a punch.

Can i just say that although the plot was really weird for this movie, the costumes were amazing, I loved this version of enchantress, although her second form is really cool. Some people were complaining about harley's outfit cause it was too showy but i liked it, would like to see her use the jester costume one day though

I think the reason why Deadshot saw his child is probably because of Enchantress. I don't know much about Enchantress and what she can do, but, this answer sounds pretty fitting to me. I think the reason was that Enchantress could've actually had this power where she could dug up people's memories. When she did, she found the child and used it to Deadshot as a manipulating device. What do you guys think?

I don't know, I had a feeling Enchantress would have shined more with JLD as a wildcard and not as a main villain. She's an interesting character, reminds me more of Scarlet Witch than her Enchantress Marvel counterpart. If done right, she could have had the same popularity as Scarlet Witch. Unstable and powerful and all that jazz.

Don't know why people hated on this film it actually was pretty awesome would have been epic if the revealed Jared Leto's Joker to be Jason Todd inspired by The Phoenix Joker . That would have added to the lore of Harley being an "accomplice " to the death of Robin and making the "jokes on you" quote spray painted on the burned up Robin suit come full circle...Warner Bros should let me get a writing gig lol
