If you liked this video and want to see me do more, let me know what bike park you would like for me to do in the comments. Also, feel free to share this video with your friends.
This is still one of my favorite video series on RUclips. I'm not just saying that because I know you haha. I wish these videos existed when I was planning trips! Hopefully Google takes note and will start promoting these videos to those searching for bike park info. One improvement to the scoring system: Take me on every trip so I can actually visit more bike parks hahah
Thanks man I really appreciate the kind words! Dude I would love to ride park with ya! I need to go to another one soon since I’m out of parks to grade now... I might do spider soon, but I also have a couple on my list that want to go to this summer. I’ll definitely let you know what I plan out.
@@ryanrayburn1894 Let me know! I have been wanting to get to Spider Mountain again before it gets insanely hot. I know most of our friends aren’t a fan of the place anymore haha.
@@ChrisCXK I too do not look upon them very fondly anymore, but it’s still a fun time and I want to get back out there soon.... I definitely been wanting to score them for awhile now.
This was great man! So much better than the other video I was watching on this place. I'm concerned at the lack of big jump lines cause as everyone knows, I love to jump lol.
Thanks man! Haha you can still get plenty of big air here, but I don't think it matters.... you will never be satisfied with any bike park. The worst part about these videos is I don't really get to showcase any trail too much and I know how much you like your terrifying tech trails.... I may just do a quick trail review of a terrifying double black next just for you buddy.
I really appreciate the amount of thought you put into your review. Thank you. Hopefully someone at deer valley will watch and work these issues. When did you do this ride?
Thanks man, I really appreciate you letting me know that. I hope someone at Deer Valley sees it too, but it was still just fun making it and cool reliving all the trails there. I rode there this past August, I go once a year since I have family in SLC..... Its pretty nice since I get to check the “family visit” box and scratch the bike park itch all in one trip. By the way, Deer Valley might be one of the best chances you have to convince your wife to do a bike park trip... Park City (where Deer Valley is) is a very nice town.
haha ya I'm still alive! just been super busy, I have a side gig as a handyman and I have just been getting an insane amount of jobs lately.... it's hard for me to turn down money. I have a script 90% done... just need time to make it into a video. Thanks for the kind words and kick in the ass though, I try to make some progress on it this weekend.
@@ryanrayburn1894 well don't torture yourself for me. I was just being nosey. Don't blame you at all. I've had two jobs most my life. Stay safe stay happy.
Wow those are some incredibly believable stats. Needless to say, I want to meet y'all at a bike park this year if I can swing it. I wanna get better at these gosh darn jumps.
Thanks man! For sure, I would imagine we will make it out to at least one this year.... haha I try to do 2-3 every though! In my opinion, bike parks are the absolute best place to improve one's jumping skills/confidence.
Dang watched your Angel Fire review then this one I’m not sure I agree. I’ve been living in Angel Fire and riding the park almost daily but spent this weekend at Deer Valley. The trails for me at DV were super flowy and jumpy where AF only has 3 or 4 trails that I would consider flowy and jumpy. To give DV a 5 in elevation is super generous. It only took me 15 min to get down the main mountain whereas AF takes about 30. Maybe consider adding lift line wait time as a metric? DV I waited on average 10mins for the lift whereas AF is always under 5. All in all I feel DV should be rated higher than AF but some of your category ratings seem skewed.
Wow this is a lot to unpack here but first thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Second I’m actually at deer valley as I write this (my sister lives in park city so I come here once a year) and the first thing I thought about when I started riding was that their flow lines are better/more abundant this year, parks change every year and DV seemed to beef up a couple of there trails to make them more flowy. When I visited AF last year there seemed to be way more than 3-4 flow lines (Boulder Dash, Hungry Hippo, Last Call, Turbo Diesel are just a few I remember). DV elevation is a little messed up as it is broken up between two mountains, I think I mention this in the video, but I was just trying to follow the “letter of the law” and technically it scores a 5. I love the lift line idea, but I think you came to DV on a busy 4th of July weekend…. Yesterday I didn’t wait in line for more than 5 minutes and most of the time I didn’t have to wait at all. Lastly the this thing isn’t ever going to be a perfect system I’m one guy that randomly visits these parks. Every park is going to have good and bad weekends and I just do my best to be fair, if I scored DV this year it would definitely be higher and I’ll probably score them again next year since as I come here so often. Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts, would definitely love any other suggestions. What your favorite bike park?

Also, I want to add. Rossignols are made by Felt for Rossignol. Felt is not exactly an MTB specialist brand.
