Bergen Poker run 2023 is an organized event in which participants must visit five checkpoints, drawing a playing card in each one. The goal of the game is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. But the main goal of the event is to come together and have fun.
There were many boats participating in this years Bergen Poker Run. A lot of people also came to watch the cortege, both in following boats and on shore.
The participating boats consists of power boats. Generally a power boat has a high power-to-weight ratio and a hull design that allows for easy planing, which allows for higher speed and improved handling. This years run started in Bergen City Harbour. Next checkpoint was Kafe Ole Bull. Following they had a stop at Vedholmen. Then they visited Olaskjeret at Bakkasund. Next stop was Askøy bridge, where they all gathered before arriving as a cortege back in Bergen City Harbour. In the evening an afterparty was held where the winner of the game was announced.
