At the 6:30 mark of the video i was already eyeing up that thing where you caught the toad at! haha. Good job bro thats awesome. Keep up the good work on these videos. loving em
It's so much fun, I'm very fortunate to be able to do this....It's tough at time, (since I'm still working full time at night) so there are many days I'm fishing on 2-3 hours of sleep but I'm working hard to get better at all of this and I think it's working! Thanks!
Fished that place back in the 90's. State record 16lbs 4 ounces came out of there. My buddy caught a 9 pounder out of there using a 10 inch worm, down at the base of some of the standing trees, in like 10 feet of water!
1st off... Huge fan bro, love what you do! Great fish... I live in Montclair (WOODBRIDGE) and fish a lot of the water you do. I've wore'um out everywhere in NOVA but Curtis Lake. Whats crazy is it looks like PERFECT fishing conditions and I've seen some pretty big explosions top water around sunset BUT... the bites are few and far between. Last time I was out with my boy John we pulled the same stunt as you and 1Rod1Reel pulled @ BCreek and got hung up in a submerged tree. Keep the videos coming, love your channel!
Thx for the positive vibes!!Do you have a recommendation for a good quality affordable reel? I just got a nice new med heavy 6ft6in rod that I wanna use for jigging and maybe spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Looking to spend around $60-$80
@SBFISHINGTV I live in Stafford and I fish there alot, there are some monsters out there, when it's hot and in general there you wanna throw small baits. like rn fish the 4 points on the lake very slowly with a little finesse jig, in the fall they get super active and feed shallow all day, same with all spring. but smaller baits there are key. I love the vids man and keep them coming
Great quality videos. Learning a lot👍

I agree, don't think if see a RUclips angler do this before

gotta love when you set into a fish and it barely moves haha that's when you know it's a hog!! like dead weight
new subscriber.. what's the biggest bass and also fish you have caught?
Ace's pb is 9-10 lbs out of a pond in Florida, mine is 7 lbs.
You about to make me pick up a pack of those Yamamotos
You won't regret it.
That fish was a hog! Probly the 10 pounder 1rod been chasing lol
Definitely not 10, but the head was GIGANTIC!!
Yea looks like a 7-8 pounder right? But yeah that head was a bomb! Awesome catch thou!!!
HOOOOGGGGGG
Been wanting to fish Smith lake for awhile, is it electric only? and did you have to get permits to fish it?
Electric only, and yes you need a special fishing license to fish there but it is an open base!
What bait casting reel would you recommend for $100
You can find the Abu Garcia Revo S on sale for $100 once in a while, usually $130 but it's AWESOME!!!
that moment when u hook into a hog
How big was the fish dude
I'm gonna say 6 lbs to be on the fair side....could've been bigger though.
What's the setup used for that hawg?
7' XH Carrot Stix with summit reel, 20lb seaguar fluoro and a 3/8 oz ike finesse jig with flappin hog trailer.
crap just read the description nvm lol
