Man I love this song and how Leslie sang it. And Eric's guitar playing and back up singing. Heart throb 💕💕💕💕 even after all these years I'm 56 years old and if be up at the stage screaming my head off. A BCR Fan forever!!
I was born too late for these guys, but as I cycle through their work, I start to fall in love with Erik. I bet we all end up with a crunch on Eric. Anyone else?
I've been a fan of Eric--and the Rollers--since the 70's (as a teenager). He was the first "love" of my life and I'll always love him! I love this video so much...his guitar sounds so good--lovin' his shorts in this one too. He inspired me to play guitar and I'm thankful for that also. Welcome to the "ERIC" fan club...🥰❤❤❤❤🎸 RIP to Alan, Ian, and Leslie...miss you forever.

I have to admit I loved this trimmed down version of the BCR, but Pat's writing in the mix might explain why this song is so different stylistically from the others. Also, this should have been a hit.
I never really cared for Leslie, but in my opinion he was hot in this video. Don't know if it's the combination of dark jeans and light top, the hair, or what.....
He was a charismatic, self-confident frontman, and he was absolutely concious to be the most important of them all. He drove his bandmates mad, and one day, during a concert, Stuart Wood kicked him right into the screaming audience.
I think he might have been at least the first one to wear an earring in public. I remember that caused a discussion about how it used to be traditional for sailors to pierce one ear once they crossed the equator and some other nonsense.
@@Mellissandria Actually crossing the equator is a big deal for sailors and they even have a ceremony thats pretty interesting And messy. You must pay your respects to king Neptune you know ! I have a commemorative card with my uncle's name on it during ww2. Also went out with a electrical engineer who worked on an oil tanker as ships engineer and he told me all about his equator ceremony. Very interesting stuff . So nice to reminisce about this together.
You can tell it’s Pat that wrote the song it’s so much his style. To bad he wasn’t given the credit for writing the song, but then the band was cheated out of there money so they thought they could cheat him out of his money.

Les
Love this song!! Les has an amazing voice. And Eric rocked those shorts♥️♥️♥️
Oh yes ! Eric in those shorts !❤
I remember first seeing Woody's earring during their appearance on the Midnight Special in '77. Very eyepopping for my 12 y.o. self.
And I love watching Derek "singing" along to the songs.
I know, it's so funny cause he's always mouthing the words to the songs as they're singing. Cute!

I've loved Eric since I was 6 years old. My 16 years old Auntie loved them and I'd sing a long xx
Leslie for me. ❤️😊

Just Beautiful!!!! And just couldn't keep my eyes off Eric : ) *sighs*
Don't we all wish our name was Virgina! Love the split screen.
Me too! That way everyone can see their favorite the whole time.😊
Unusual at the Time, but Loving Woody's Dangle Earring!

Love when they play live!

Mellissandria definitely should’ve been a hit and absolutely it explains the style. Love that song and love it live.
Les was gorgeous in this video!!!
Agreed, and it had a bit of a "bluesy" feel in a way. It's a catchy tune for sure.
This was written by Eric Faulkner
@@wendyh2708 Pat co wrote the song and other songs on the album and was never given credit.
They should’ve stuck with this line of music.. great!
Love it when Eric and Woody sing together.
LOL, I noticed that, too. The Japanese flubbed on that [And I am Japanese. I'm pleased Leslie married a Japanese girl].
Ok-ish song from an otherwise brilliant and highly underrated album.
I think he was saying sweet virginia at 1:46. But then again......I could be hearing wrong with that sweet scottish accent. LOL!! ; )
I never really cared for Leslie, but in my opinion he was hot in this video. Don't know if it's the combination of dark jeans and light top, the hair, or what.....
He definitely has good hair!

pat is great👏🙌 song writer🥰😃✨🍀♪☆・
Some one posted about a year ago about Woody's earring.... was he the first one of the group to get his ear pierced?

lol the BOY city rollers ???? LOL

Wow this is a blatant rip of The Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music. I wonder if Tom Johnston of the Doobies ever heard this.
Pat McGlynn wrote this and was never given credit for it or was paid for it!
Debora Meinhold I did not know that!!
Neither did I!
I read it was Eric Faulkner. I believe that if pat wrote it eric wouldn't have claimed to write it. Unless information on web is wrong.
@@bluesky-pb9di Eric wouldn't take credit for it if he didn't write it.
Eric wrote it. I just looked it up.
Not a happy band.
????
This might have been shortly before Les left
This was when Les and Eric were at each other's throats constantly. It was not good for morale.
@@allisonbergeron1929 they were a lot happier after he left
@@podiumguy100sure but not successful after he left. they made a huge mistake.
Letting Les go was the biggest mistake this band ever made.
