NBA fans were crazy last year, like the throwing stuff was disrespectful but the spitting was on a whole other level.
If you throw stuff or spit on a player, you should be automatically kicked out and charged with at LEAST a misdemeanor. However, I dont agree with kicking fans out over words. If a player makes it to this level of basketball, I would hope their skin is thick enough to handle a few harsh words.
@@privateuser7 Honestly that depends on what the fans says, if the fan is just simply trash talking then they dont have to get kicked out, but if they are hurling racial slurs or anything that is offensive and disgusting then they should be kicked out.

I think they were cheering because the guy got up after being injured. In hockey, it’s very common for the entire arena to cheer when a player stands up after an injury as a way of showing support
Since hockey’s a very popular sport in Canada, many raptors fans are also hockey fans and so those kind of traditions carry over even if they’re not custom in basketball
