- It’s KUKA TIME. Young Sefa and Hughie head out to sea this week to bring you 'Sea' (seh-ah), a local delicacy with an acquired taste, and 'Limu' or sea grapes. But that's not all because they'll also showcase some more amazing seafood at the luxurious Taumeasina Island Resort.
A big Faafetai tele lava to Tusi, Diana and Lualua and not forgetting the Taumeasina Island Resort.

Another absolutely lovely episode with the hilarious and genuine antics of the two hosts. Loved your facial expression when you ate the sea hughie. Yes, sea is an acquired taste not for the faint hearted. Do more kuka episodes in Savai'i please.
I used to study in Nz and I miss a chance to travel Samoa , Tonga and Fiji then I moved back home in Thailand but I will definitely go there one day after Covid

perhaps a bit more research would have added to the fun....sea is actually the intestine of the sea cucumber. the english name of it...some refer to it as curry fish because of the colour but it is not a fish... notice how Diana took the gut out and threw the sea cucumber back to the sea. there is a science to that traditional action -. but you were funny never the less. thanks for the lovely video. wonderful scenery of Samoa's coastline.

I love sea and there's a lot in Salelologa, after diving we use stop on the way back and get some sea to eat. One day I'll move back soon.
