This is great but what about the parking mode settings? In the manual it says you can choose between time-lapse recording or collision recording when the car is parked up. However, where are these settings in the app?? I can't find them at all. All I see is what you've shown in this video tutorial. My D600 has been professionally hardwired and overnight (or when I'm not in the vehicle) it just records full time which is a huge battery drain and although the hardwire kit should prevent the battery going flat, I'd much rather just set it to collision recording only, or time-lapse. Can anyone tell me how to access the Parking Mode settings that are clearly indicated in the user manual?
Hi, I have the same problem as you, the dashcam remains connected always recording empty all the time, the fear is that it runs out of the car battery too much and the fear of the dashcam overheating, have you solved it somehow? I can't find the parking mode in the app.
@@gianvanez yeah I contacted the company direct and according to them you need a specific hardwire kit that then 'opens' the other settings in the app. To be fair, they sent me the hardwire kit for free but I couldn't trust it so I had a different camera fitted and it's all perfectly working now.
I got a redtiger cam fitted and it's set to timelapse for parking mode. The rear cam is similar so I left the D600 one in (almost identical to Redtiger rear cam).
The free hardwire kit I was sent just looks like a basic one. I can't add photos otherwise I'd show you. It doesn't have a name either. It just says Hardwire kit for packing monitoring mode. Underneath the bar code it says 'X001YEELS1'

I have this exact same dashcam i bought on sale $30 off from amazon. Easy to install and activate, i just gotta make sure i unplug it whenever im not using the cam as it’ll drain my car’s battery
You can install a hardwire kit to solve that problem

Does this cam accept verbal commands? From the video, I assume you have to stop driving to save or lock a video?
I am not able to play saved videos in the app as it always says play failed error
Under file preview do the files have a length of time and file size. If they do then you will need to download the brand software into your computer to view your files.
My dash cam is not saving loops videos :/ I restart the dash cam
the SD card and nothing 😢.. so sad
How about setting the loop recording to a different time.

Mine is not recording. I already change and reformat sd card and factory reset the cam. Not even a year.
There's no rear mirror setting on my app. How do I enable it?
The rear camera is enabled once you connect the rear camera to the dash cam. If you want to toggle between the front and rear camera view time stamp 2.39. The settings in the app are for both cameras. The front camera is the main unit and will have more features.
My andriod just keeps looping to connect camera and check wifi. The WIFI is connected. I can't add the camera.
Try to add the cameras wifi under your connections settings in your cell phone.
had my dashcam for a month now,,,,had an incident today and when I checked my app there are NO saved loop recordings,,,literally empty on the app. Took sd card out and popped it in the computer and there is NOTHING there. Why? Help please
That's frustrating. The SD card needed to be formatted after the dash cam is installed. Try formatting the SD card then connect to the App and verify it's recording.
@@JDdashcams SD card is formatted fine,,after checking everything I could think of it turns out that the dashcam does not automatically connect to 'wifi' when starting the car, literally have to 'connect' on the app every time I start the car,,,it takes a few minutes to do this and is extremely annoying. Yes, it is set up to automatically connect but it doesn't.
The last thing would be a bad SD Card. Try replacing it.
@@JDdashcams SD card is fine,,,it is the app not connecting to wifi on starting the car. I have to manually connect each time I get in the car.
Thanks for this. Every time I use the app it asks to connect again through the whole wifi method. Is that how it is supposed to be.
Also sometimes it disconnects automatically.

If one file is locked you can go to playback mode and unlock it there

You can use the time lapse feature or when the car detects a vibration.
I use this option but my camra have a voice.start time lapsvideo . When i park my car and off the engine. But camra actually doesn’t make any timelaps video . What i can do with this problem?
