Fantastic research history breakdown! I'm really glad the studio executives ultimately didn't mind the hair moving on Kong during the test animation. I think it's neat little details like that which make stop motion art really stand out
The amount of research put into these videos is great 👍
Always makes my day when a new entry in this series drops 😁
_Especially_ when i watch it just before heading out to see _G-1_ 😎👍
Very good video, always wanted to know the story of King Kong.

Disney's Animal Kingdom pays homage to this illustration in the queue for Expedition Everest. There's an artist's rendition of what the yeti looks like and it's drawn in a very similar style to Willis O'Brien's artwork. The yeti is likewise holding a tree in one hand. No naked woman in the other hand though. Most parents probably wouldn't have approved of that.
It's good, but you left one thing about the Edgar Wallace draft, John Driscoll was one of the escape prisoners and we learned he was in the French foreign legion and lock up after being accused for striking a superior officer.
Holy fuck man I saw the first 3 episodes been trying to find this series for a couple of months I kept searching Dino movie history and couldn’t find it man this whole time it was the road to Godzilla so happy to see this series again I turned on the bell

Is this a Face Reveal ?
Was Cary Grant even a star in 1933?
Cary Grant made his film debt in 1932 and was already Mae West's leading man in 1933.
@@anthonycrnkovich5241 He was hardly a star though. And casting of King Kong started 1932.
