I was born & raised in Pennsylvania. I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida in 1996 to escape idiots like this clown. I was 49 yrs old at the time, served 4 yrs. in the USAF during Vietnam war. As soon as I was discharged in 1970, I found out how much of an uphill battle it was to survive there with rising taxes, inflation, few jobs under Democrat rule. I managed to survive minimumly with no arrest record, no drugs, at a variety of jobs, with minimal debt. By 1996 I realized that things in Pennsylvania were never going to change in that state [due to political corruption], I decided to move to Florida with my family. Best decision I ever made! I am now 75 yrs. old, not wealthy but debt-free. I live within my means & will never be a debt-slave again! I still remember a wise man years ago telling me "If it doesn't make sense to you, it's making dollars for someone else". Thank you Tucker for your wisdom!

When I was a kid growing up in the 1980's, my friend had a computer game called "Genghis Khan" for the Commodore Amiga 2000. In this game, you were a political ruler (king or whatever) of a country that was arranged to run in a certain way when you started out.
The first thing we would do to improve the country in that game was to go in and see what the people were doing and what the country had to trade and what the country was producing.
It wasn't too hard to see that in a certain country you controlled as the leader, their Textiles (Or food, or clothing or whatever) was that country's main trade item was, but the people in that country were not making enough of them to let that country survive.
So the first thing we did was to increase that industry and add more people into it to make more of that product and after about 20 minutes into that game, the country was on the rise and their economy turned around 100%. After that was successful, we looked into the secondary and triary products and then took people out of the primary industry and placed them in making those resources. that way, if the other countries no longer wanted to trade Textiles, for example, we could survive by trading food or equipment or something else. This game taught me a lot and I played it when I was 12-16.
So if I was to become Mayor of Pennsylvania, I would look firstly into what that area had to offer in the way of sale-able resources and start building that up. Get the people the jobs and get that product to market, or at least try and get that state balanced enough to function at a basic level that would help them to grow and function normally.
Here's the thing, you're asking a liberal, aka a person who cares more about posturing and virtue signaling than anything else, to use logic and reason to do....well, anything that actually helps anyone. Its almost funny a video game made for young people nearly 40 yrs. ago would be better at running a city than this dummy.

So if the game is a start of the education of running a country efficiently, then why can't these politicians go deeper in their education and make some really good decisions based on that knowledge.

We have encouraged the morons of the U.S. to have lots of kids and then kept them all alive by giving out welfare and food stamps. We have essentially eliminated survival of the fittest and rewarded lazy, unproductive behavior. Every year that segment gets larger b/c they don't work and have all day to breed and multiply 24/7. Now that they are the slight majority or close to it, you can look forward to whomever offers the most free stuff getting elected every time. The only way we can change this is setting some requirements to vote, like for example if you do not pay taxes you do not vote. That seems pretty fair to me.

Same here. I actually had a worker who had a stroke a few years back. Was a great at his job until his stroke. When he returned, I had to be realistic and not expect a guy who now needed a cane to walk 2 feet to still be able to carry heavy boxes all day.

Regardless of politics, anyone who has been through a stroke is someone to pity. They'll never be the same again. Not cognitively, not personality wise, not physically. It changes the person permanently and to the detriment. He has my sympathies. He still should not be given any governing office because his policies are horrendous with terrible effect on the citizenship.

I have worked on a trauma unit and an acute neurological rehab unit. I've worked with more than my share of people with open and closed head injuries. During his football career Hershell Walker experienced so many CBIs that he has suffered permanent brain damage. Think Muhammad Ali. It is obvious that he is not fit for any role in politics, let alone the Senate. Period. On the other hand, people who have suffered a stroke can make a full recovery without any deficits. Just depends on the type and severity of the CVA.

I have a friend who I've been telling for 3 yrs now democrats want to change the demographics and will start passing laws allowing people who are not US citizens to vote.
