7 Technicians Every Thai Boxer Should Study | Muay Thai

  • Some of the best "muay fimeu" or "muay classic" style fighters, or as I like to call them, "technicians" or technical fighters.
    A technician is a master of all weapons. He is slick, stylish, adaptable, and can win a fight in many different ways, depending on the intentions and style of his opponent.
    His movement is well-balanced and graceful in execution. He possesses a great muay Thai brain and razor-sharp vision which keeps him one step ahead of his opponent.
    Above all else, he has a supreme confidence in everything he does in the ring.
    This list features the following fighters:
    Chatchai Paiseetong
    Namkabuan Nongkeepahuyuth
    Saenchai
    Hippy Singmanee
    Boonlai Sor Thanikul
    Samart Payakaroon
    Karuhat Sor Supawan
    This is not an exhaustive list! It is by no means my top 7 although that's the way it seems to have been received. While these fighters are certainly some of the best ever, there are several more names that should be included in a comprehensive list. I'll try to make another video to go along with this shortly.

    Saenchai has been well documented on his awesomeness and Samart is vicious as they come. The one fighter who opened my eyes on the list was Chatchai Paiseetong. He truly epitomizes the idea of "hit and not get hit". His reflexes and defense are impeccable. Great video.

      Perhaps your comment has been misinterpreted by others. But further credit focus "is" due of his ingenuity of Saenchai with his skill set being a product (plus a signature) from "Jockey gym" ,which has has been over shadowed by the growth of his finesse & flair with of his fan base popularity globally.

      The femurs start getting in your head with their variety of strikes so their opponents usually start becoming more aggressive trying to get some points back, inevitably leading to them dropping their hands subconsciously. Fighting is hugely mental.

      @markcynic808 5 лет назад

      @@chickendinner5572
      An improper diet leads to malnutrition and shortness of stature. South Koreans are 2 to 3 inches taller than North Koreans. That difference in stature took only 60 years. Leanness is found in athletes from all parts of the world with many different diets. Once weight isn't an issue, neither is leanness. World heavyweight boxing champs Ruiz Jr and Tyson Fury are both fat fuckers.

    • @chickendinner5572
      @chickendinner5572 5 лет назад +2

      @@markcynic808 yeah no shit, the reason South East Asians have this type of diet is because there is lack of animal farms and abundant in edible plants. Sure we are small and short in stature, but we don't require a lot of calories to fuel our bodies. Unlike the western world, full of fat fucks. I'm SEA living in the US and we still have almost the same diet as our counter parts that live on the other side of the world.

    • @FightVideos
      @FightVideos 5 лет назад +1

      kicking the opponent front leg is another good technique, low kicks can knock out also. I personally like to destroy the thighs as it is more merciful. power side teeps are my favourites and the opponents will think thrice before advancing senselessly. Nothing is useless, all are useful. only those who does not know how or when or where or what, and also use as rymthm breakers are super important.

    • @FightVideos

      train and gain superb balance and do multiple subsequent moves before, during and after each move. one concept is like the spear, but can switch stances also. being a blade sabre or swords or whip helps in completing the styles also.

      The footage is too grainy and was captured at a low frame rate (even at quarter speed), so you aren't seeing what happened clearly. The only way to tell the moment of impact is by watching the opponent. At first he seems to have ducked the kick successfully, but then as the foot arcs downward you see his body jerk and his front shoulder spasms.
