There's a funny video where it shows this tenor line playing through the show music and at the very end the person holding the camera said "WOW!" I think anyone that watched it feels the same way. I've been following DCI since mid 80's and i think this is the best tenor line I've ever seen. Maybe there's one that i didn't see, so i can't say 100% best ever. But it's the best that these eyes have seen. Flawless!
They're actually more around 45 lbs but the harnesses are solid so they don't bounce around when you march. I marched deep shell dynasty's for 2 years and I have permanent knots in my shoulders haha totally worth it though

You usually can adjust them. the harness is usually like the snare as well, and in my school, two of the players (center snare and another player) aren't very tall. You can adjust them to your height, but you have to be careful, or else they may hurt your back I'm a tenor for b-line days in my school (there is a(dvance)-line- Marimba/Pit and b(eginners)-line-Tenor in my school)
