£300+ !!! A-bit pricey but a great idea , for that money the screws should be captivated and nice wrench to go with it, perhaps the big boys can be all little more competitive.
This is actually a cool idea. Have one type of bounce in Summer and different Bounce in the Winter.. Would not change during a round.. Basically decide based of condition of course. If course is wet go with Wider Bounce.
Ok now I’ve seen price I’d rather buy 2 separate bounce wedges of same loft especially with the awkward screws. Also as I replace wedges each year they need a better price point I think
This is a very intriguing concept here James!!!!!!! I really like the idea of being able to change my wedges myself verses having different wedges for different playing condition. Could be a much better option and cheaper it seems.
One of the best golf channels on RUclips supper informative and always bringing new relevant content 👌 can't get enough keep it coming. When you going to come play a few round down In Australia?
Much prefer to buy good used wedges, keep them in the car and pull out the one(s) that seem(s) to best fit the course conditions. A good "one size fits all" approach is to use wedges with a wider sole and less bounce angle, this allows for playing in most types of lies and sand conditions.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! When you get to a level of play, you know that different conditions are better with different sole types, being able to change your wedges day by day is SO MUCH better than having to have multiple wedges
Honestly I think screws needs redesign. Spare one will not last long and handling loose screws will be always fiddly. Simple solution are captive screws and should be implemented before clubs left prototype stage.
I'd be concerned that things will get stuck in between the weight and the back of the face where it screws in. Or that it would create friction or snags and possibly twist the face a little bit. Not sure how I feel about this.
Very, very cool, although I thought the idea behind a set of wedges was to have various bounces within the wedges for various situations all the time. I'm no expert at all, but am I right, or am I missing something?
When you were talking about losing the screws, I’m a little disappointed you missed the opportunity to say that you would be screwed😂 In all seriousness though, really cool idea and great video.
95% golfers and retailers have no idea on bounce .understanding bounce and conditions is so critical in scoring that's why there are tour vans ...good players and fitters know it .
Brilliant idea but then again once the grooves wear away and you lose spin etc it's destined for the bin like any other wedge. Now if only someone came up with the idea of a replacement face for your wedges ?!?! 😉😁
At £300 its should be the best wedge you have ever seen. Or buy a couple of wedges with differing lofts and bounce to give options on the course rather than wishing you'd chosen differently before the round. (i.e. its not versatile mid round)
Just some feedback: Yours has been one of my favorite RUclips channels out of the creators. Lately I have noticed myself not as interested in watching the videos to completion. I think it has to do with the videos lacking the same creativity and matchplay from previous videos. When you have matchplay with different opponents and creative videos it keeps the viewers attention. Pete F does a masterful job with this. Keep up the great work. Always important I feel to get feedback
it is a non sens to buy a wedge at this price. Buy instead 2 wedges (same loft, different bounce) from a reputable brand like Mizuno, TM, Vokey for the same price...
I'm pretty good at building things, and I'm curious how you see that being done? my first thought would make it where the screw wouldn't fall out but could still be replaced if needed.
James, I enjoy what you do and more importantly how well you do it, but please come back to reality here. These wedges are $343 each. I know that the majority of golfers are smarter than that to pay that much for one club, prices this high are insane! Please I beg you no more!
🤣, So just because you can't afford it or are willing to pay for it, everyone else should feel the same way or isn't interested, makes logical sense 🤣. I just spent $970.00 on a driver, and it was worth it to me.

It would be cheaper or about the same price to buy two wedges 😀. The summer wedge and the winter wedge!
Ok now I’ve seen price I’d rather buy 2 separate bounce wedges of same loft especially with the awkward screws. Also as I replace wedges each year they need a better price point I think
The risks of losing those screws are greater than the benefits if an adjustable bounce-especially with the cost of this single club.
Note to Vega: captive screws on each backpiece wouldn't be a bad idea on a £300 club 👍
You’re so right, it always amazes me how many corners are cut on “premium” clubs
This is a very intriguing concept here James!!!!!!! I really like the idea of being able to change my wedges myself verses having different wedges for different playing condition. Could be a much better option and cheaper it seems.
Just a little pricey for me. But really makes good sense. PS you were dialed in.
Good idea as I have duplicate clubs with different bounces as 🇬🇧 can be wet or hard & dry 👏 When I play safe S grind 10 degree bounce works everywhere

“Be your own fitter” lol sounds like a light night infomercial

Finally. Something truly unique in the wedge world. I dig this idea. Thanks, James.
Screw that !!! £300 is just too much and really need to do something about those screws.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! When you get to a level of play, you know that different conditions are better with different sole types, being able to change your wedges day by day is SO MUCH better than having to have multiple wedges
James brilliant video again. Any chance you can review some of the new irons from Maltby, another DTC brand
Honestly I think screws needs redesign. Spare one will not last long and handling loose screws will be always fiddly. Simple solution are captive screws and should be implemented before clubs left prototype stage.
What is the weight of the bounce attachments, 50 60 grams? Total weight of the club? Would you ever want to play it without bounce?
Well done James 👏
Just get the right bounce - by your own admission mid bounce works best for you?
👌👌👌
I'd be concerned that things will get stuck in between the weight and the back of the face where it screws in. Or that it would create friction or snags and possibly twist the face a little bit. Not sure how I feel about this.
Any chance you can hold the club still when showing us...and get in focus😢
Wow! I own 6 wedges just for bounce. I can reduce my trunk space with that wedge 😂
Could they not magnetise the screws so they don’t fall off.
Very different and very cool, great review

Cool idea, but 350 quid (almost 600 CAD) a wedge, no thanks .

How can you say wedges aren’t sexy!!! Best looking clubs in the bag & id love one those bad boys 😍
Brilliant idea but then again once the grooves wear away and you lose spin etc it's destined for the bin like any other wedge. Now if only someone came up with the idea of a replacement face for your wedges ?!?! 😉😁
TM did make one. Padraig Harrington bought as many spare faces as he could find for it...
£300 and they don’t give you any spare screws 😅😅😅
Do you have a link where to get it from?
If James is losing his marbles oops Screws and only just purchased club. How many will lose their screws if they owned one?
Needs some captive screws
Love the look of it, if it's a giveaway I'm in! 😂. Can't afford something like that I wish I could

I mean I did play well with it lol
Really cool idea! Hopefully it’s not crazy expensive!
More mod-1 wedges
Same
Great review mate

No bounce wedge 😈
What an incredibly good idea, at an incredibly large price. Wowser
Make them magnetic and they’ll have a winner.
Blimey James £300,2/3of them i think not.
Just another rip off club at over £300 , I have tried all the new equipment and I play better with some 22 year old irons
That is a stupid looking wedge. Lose a screw and you’re screwed. And for that kind of money… It’s hard to believe there’s an actual market for it.
Love it.
They should build the next ones with the screws built in
I'm pretty good at building things, and I'm curious how you see that being done? my first thought would make it where the screw wouldn't fall out but could still be replaced if needed.
Absolute nonsense 😂😂😂 pls get Chris on these pls ,👀👀👀 also loose a screw your screwed 😱😱😱
Too gimmicky. Why bother?
