I always have difficulty picking background music. So whenever I can't decide what sounds best without being distracting I just settle for ambience lol. I didn't mean to make this video seem eerie or anything.
@@cellureel i was thinking it was a little sad with the music now that its all gone. but i have played super hero squad online forever and its awesome. you can play with others and use almost anyone
I would love a revival of this series. After being gone for so long, they got so many movies and characters to could make this series. If only Hasbro could get it together and actually bring it back.
The SHS figurine line was everything to me as a little kid, literally, this was one of the only types of toys I had when I was younger. xD I'm so glad someone finally did a video looking back on these. I really wish they came back, given how well they were made.
This toy line is practically responsible for creating my love of Marvel. I had all kinds of the figures, most of which I didn’t even know when I was young. It taught me so much about the lore and greater Marvel universe, and gave me countless hours of joy as a child. I still have them all in my room, hard to imagine letting go of them
It would’ve been great to get ones in mcu style if they would’ve continued it, and I would like to think they discontinued it because of sales but who knows if there ain’t no valid reason to be discontinued then it would be nice to get a revival of them
Always amazes me how many figures were based on the Ultimate Universe, specially considering how disturbing those versions of Giant Man, Hulk and Wolverine are.
I am so nostalgic for the super hero squad show that thing was my childhood and my introduction to a lot of marvel characters. For example Dr doom is still one of my favorite villains and I first saw him in this show
The show was so underrated!! The way superheroes who don’t normally interact shared a platform blew my mind. Like The Defenders in that one episode? Great stuff
Bro that talking iron man figure unlocked a memory I totally forgot about! I used to have one too and I friggin adored it, I can’t believe I forgot about it 😂
I’ve legitimately never understood people who say this. Yes there were some very good shows made before Disney bought marvel. But disney have owned marvel for 16 years now and so many people don’t realise that the show they watched as a child (exclusively for late 90’s early 00’s kids) were made after disney bought marvel. Disney buying marvel didn’t suddenly ruin them if anything it did the opposite.
Marvel superhero squad was a huge chunk of my childhood! I still have a big lot of them that I sometimes used in my videos. I’m pretty sure it will get some kind of revival at some point. If Hasbro was able to bring back stuff like mighty muggs and heroscrape, then I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t bring this back
I always loved the show and toys. I remember wanting to collect every one of these that i could, i got a small collection out of that, which is somewhere in my attic (i cant find it). Ive been thinking of maybe in the future starting a proper collection of these. Edit: i found my collection!
I think that's just what most channels do whenever they analyze forgotten/lost media. But yeah, I think the spooky music is unnecessary. It feels like I'm watching an "All Time" video
Yes. In fact, I do. I remember all of these figures. These were some of my favorites to collect. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Marvel’s Super Hero Squad, all of it. They had so much love for the source material they adapted too. I was the prime target demographic. 3 huge franchises I loved coming from the same place.
Got into super hero squad figures back when Spider-Man 3 came out and then after getting a bunch of Spider-Man packs I strictly went to getting the X-men characters since they were and still are my favorite marvel heroes
They remind me of this one similar toy line that came out around the same time (maybe even a bit before) called Spider-Man and Friends. They were toys that depicted chibi versions of Spider-Man and other Marvel superheroes and were aimed at a more preschool aged demographic. They came in the form of action figures, but would also have Lego-esque playsets too. I particularly remember one that had Spider-Man and Hulk in a treehouse (yes that’s real). Not sure if anyone else remembers them
0:05 The line wasn't known as Arena Adventure, that's just the name of that specific playset. The line didn't have a specific name in the beginning, it was just Playskool Star Wars.
there were also these star wars display figures called battle packs unleashed that hasbro made back when the prequel trilogy was coming out, i think they came in sets of like 5-6 little figures to set up a battle diorama
I’ve actually found a superhero squad, action figure It’s a 2 pack with Hulk and a Hulkbuster soldier I paid like $20 and most of the Incredible Hulk figures are so hard to find in Australia i’ve kept it in the package for display
I had so many of these figures from Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, Gi Joe and even Indiana Jones! Hopefully one day they can make a proper comeback, I mean bot shots did with the recent transformers movie.
I remember having a bunch of the star wars, Indiana Jones and hero squad. I think that started my collecting habit tryna to get every version of Luke Skywalker as a kid
When my family moved to a different house my dad threw away all my old marvel toys including my super hero squad figures😭 I really wish I still had them but I have since rebuilt my collection of figures, but still not as impressive as it once was😢
Lol, I remember renting the Wii game and being offended whoever it was in the tutorial mission giving the tutorial called us "squaddies" or something because I thought it was an insult
Marvel “Fans”: This show clearly designed for children , with children’s humor and designs that would appeal to children. Is to childish and low brow that means this show is terrible and should have never been made. Wow a children’s show was made for kids who would have thought.
I am shocked at the fact that this kids toy line was selling characters like punisher, deadpool, cable, electra, and the ultimate characters considering the fact that their source material aren’t really kid friendly. Imagine trying to sell unabomber and charles manson t-shirts to kids. It’s on par with blade and punisher showing up in the 90s TAS while censors were freaking out about using actual guns or saying that spiderman can’t hurt any birds when landing on rooftops or tmnt selling toys to kids while the OG comics had the turtles being morally grey, murderous vigilantes.
Why is the music so ominous and the voice over so monotone, this gives more true crime energy than anything else 😭

Finally, an in-depth look at this charming toy line, they never make them like this nowadays.
The theme song for the show these toys got goes super hard
WHEN THE BAD GUYS ARE OUT ALL YA GOTTA DO IS SHOUT "WHO'S GONNA HERO UP!?!?" 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
THOUGH THEY MAY NOT GET ALONG BUT THEY’RE ALWAYS FIGHTING STRONG NOW WHO’S GONNA HERO UP?!?!? 🔥🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🔥🔥

I miss the years when marvel wasn’t owned by Disney because this show was very fun and comedic
The show started at the same time that Disney bought Marvel.
@@coreyrobinson7585 still I miss those years
This was during the Disney era…

Wasn't prepared to see Ultimate Iron Man and Giant man, even less the ultimate hulk vs wolverine 2 pack
Yea that’s crazy that those versions of the characters were made

genuine question, just started watching the video, why is the ambience so creepy and droning? it's a video about super hero squad
I think that's just what most channels do whenever they analyze forgotten/lost media. But yeah, I think the spooky music is unnecessary. It feels like I'm watching an "All Time" video
I loved the show, had some of the toys, and had fan playing the MMO game.
Me too, though every time I think about the superhero squad, I always think of the show and the MMO game. The ladder was pretty awesome.
Great video bro. This was the line that got into the wide marvel universe after Spider-Man 3 & iron man 1

Bro these were my childhood!!! I remember selling these when I was a teen and I lowkey regretted it lol
Really good video 🙌🙌🙌 Sums up how I got introduced into the marvel universe and wider comic book media
I remembered earlier during jurassic park 3 in I think 2000 they started with jurassic park Jr.

Bring it back!
super hero squad be always better than teen titans go
I think it would be more equal to view it as Marvel's equal to Batman: The Brave and The Bold.
Both are peak anyways
@poggersuni9637 okay if you said
My favorite show
I think my favorite figure is the one of Bullseye holding Elekrta’s sais, considering the context it’s pretty dark for a kids toyline
And I miss it so much, it quite literally got me into the pop culture that made me who I am
I used to love these as a kid. Sadly I don’t have most of the Marvel ones anymore. I still got a few of the Star Wars ones thankfully
I remember this.
These are my childhood😢
was looking for a video like this. i had so many of these toys as a kid

Some of my favorite toys growing up wow
I had the Star Wars ones as a kid, forgot what they were called so my sisters and I called them “chubby buddies

Amazing vid bro
Real ones remember that awesome defense game they had on the website😎
I remember having one of these toys when I was around 2-3 years old...
When I was a kid, I had a lot of the different ones. Definitely remember owning galactus, Spiderman, captain America and Iron Man
The show was pretty fun. Its what everyone wished teen titans go would have been instead of a butt and fart show.
Great video
I miss these figures
Bro i still have mine i missed them i had some DC ones to that dc made
4:58 I remember playing the online game I played she hulk and that’s when she became my favorite character
This and the marvel universe 3.75 line is the best thing hasbro have ever done with the marvel license
THIS WAS A TOY LINE?!
Best line ever 💔
No wonder I had all these so young, I was born in December 2006 😆

One Can only Hope True Believers!
Does anyone know where I can find them nowadays they were my childhood and I’d love to collect some more if possible :((
In 1:40- How the hell is rhino there?, I used to watch all 3 Tobey movies and never saw a single rhino villian in the tobey movies
I has the one with sodiemrna and goblin and black suit Spiderman with sandman
I collected these over the years I currently have 156
This is a very good video, but because of the monotone voice & music choice, I'm getting Mr Nightmare vibes.
Super Hero Squad was campy but it was really good
Great video but what’s with the creepy music 💀
played the hell out of the Nintendo DS game ngl
show wasn’t so bad either
