Y'all better get on the Rachelle Ferrell train. A few of her songs to get you started are I Can Explain live, Open Arms live at the Apollo, Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This ft Will Downing and My Heart 1983!

I am just an old Irish guy that loves your reactions. George Benson grew up in Pittsburgh, as I did as well. I remember George playing at some of the local clubs way back in the 60`s
I got to be his biggest fan. We met at a meet and greet in Clearwater Florida a couple of years ago and he talked about growing up in Pittsburgh. Wonderful guy and talented as all get out!
His Grandmother made George`s first Guitar out of an old Cigar Box and the rest is history. Your reaction to this song with Rachelle was classic. I have seen him in Concert at least 20 times since i moved from Pittsburgh to Florida in 1973. He hasn`t lost a thing! One of the greatest Artists and performers of all time. Thank you for reacting to this masterpiece!

I have watched this duet for years and years. This song has become a favourite of mine, because the lyrics are just so meaningful and every time I listen to them I just remember how life is so fragile. Love this song. Also, Rachell Ferrell is by far my favourite singer ever, I have listened to all her videos and songs. Please react to her with George Duke, the whole concert at Montreux Jazz Festival with him is amazing, her concert at the theatre antique di vienna is amazing as well. She has so many great videos on youtube with Ledisi (Rachelle is Ledisi's mentor and friend) and Lalah Hathaway as well. Please react to her :)

Brussels on 29 April 1922. His parents owned a café. He began playing music at an early age and came to America because of WWII. He was an early champion of the humble harmonica and Thielemans is credited into bringing it into a legitimate voice in jazz.

George Benson had a huge album in 1976 called "Breezin"! The title song (an instrumental) was played on rock stations and AOR stations ALLOT! I went to one of his concerts in 1976 and it was one of the coolest concerts I have ever attended! I graduated HS in 76 (a white rock & roller), but as a guitar player myself I fell in love with Benson's playing! The crowd at that show was like none I had ever seen or seen since and I have been to tons of concerts. The crowd was about 50/50 between all these things and every variation you can think of (white, black, young, old, jeans/t-shirt, tuxedo, and last but not least, pot smokers) and everyone had a great time!

George Benson is known more for his jazz guitar than singing, and he's a diamond of a singer. For just a listen to some of his old catalog, give this album 'THE OTHER SIDE OF ABBY ROAD' where he does the entire Beatles ABBY ROAD album as jazz.

That was just FANTASTIC!! What a dynamic performance by three of the best! I absolutely love this song. And many artists have covered it. It was written and performed originally by Benard Ighner and released by Quincy Jones in 74. It's a song I've always loved. Thanks for reacting to this!!

This recording has audiophile written all over it...it really conveys the dynamic range of the vocals n instruments...

Rachelle just simply stole that performance. Chod, you’re right, that’s Minnie Ripperton territory. Not many singers can do that and people forget how good a singer George is because of his legendary guitar playing. Toots is brilliant. Loved your reaction.
    🔥❤️✌️
