Absolutely no shame in sending out work to those who practice that skill every day. I can burn up MIG wire but I farm out welding jobs that have to be right (e.g. roll bars) and/or pretty. I learn something new from every video you produce. Thanks.
Thumbs up on the professional head Porter. The professionals can get you what you want and need. Not to mention one slip up and you can cost yourself a lot of money. Very nice build.
I really like your informative videos especially due to your being a "Blue Oval Specialist" if you will. I'm a big fan of the 385 Series engines, as well as, the small block Windsor's. Thanks for the work that you do in these videos.
What would you say it the weak point of the FE that you build. That valve train is top notch and can't figure if you exceeding other portions of the combination. Oh by the way...how has that cam tunnel enclosed working?
Keep talking about the importance of degreeing cams. As an example, I checked a 390 FE engine that had the cam 8 degrees retarded when the marks were lined up on the timing set. It would have run, but it would have been a real turd.
Ford makes a great motor in fact all of the American motors are fairly good . In my opinion if you build it right it will run and drive great for years.

I really enjoy seeing these beautiful FEs come to life on this channel. Keep up the good work!
Pretty cool how well it runs with 8.5 compression, hopefully you can get some video of the finished product in the truck, and maybe some numbers too.😊
Thanks Brent!
Those valve covers! 👍

Just polish it up so oil slides down quickly. Is my ideal solution.

I'm curious to know how much boost will be on this engine. Great video!
Do you know the results of the chassis dyno tests?
As mentioned in the video, the installation is not completed yet.
