- Update 29 now available for PC and PSVR2.
Pavlov has moved to Unreal Engine 5.1 and the OpenXR input standard. The physics system has additionally changed to Chaos. The benefits of upgrading the engine will become more apparent as the modders embrace better workflows and new engine features to make development much more enjoyable.

I'll be honest, I was starting to lose hope for Pavlov PC content. But holy crap this update has blown that away and I cannot wait to just play with the new stuff! I think you've polished several things this game has been missing. Phenomenal work!

Clearly you’ve never truly talked to this dev. He bans people who give him feedback in the discord. He also rarely updates the game.
@@BRC21 I'm so happy to see more talk about how pavlov is kinda a really bad game, not only is the dev kinda an ass, but the game on pcvr is highly neglected, also the community and gameplay are terrible and just incredibly dated, pavlov is a 2017 style VR game, just play something like contractors and you get a MUCH better experience.
@@chippdbanjo that’s what I thought, all the quest kids that only play free games come here and praise him for shack when he literally banned one of my friends from the pavlov discord for telling him about some bugs he found and some suggestions. The game is EXTREMELY neglected on pc just like you said. And I agree with you, contractors is way better and actually gets attention from a decent dev team. Plus mods that are incredibly easy to use.

I've been playing steamvr for a few months now and i am very impressed!
Never saw any of the other updates on RUclips, but it was fun watching that animation to display cross-play functionality.
Im so exited! Pavlov is such a good game that Ive been playing since I got my oculus.

@@giogamer4825 very good man. I started off with some Vignettes and snap turning. 2 weeks I was turning smooth turning way up and no issues. It's so clear and fluid it shouldn't have too many sick feelings it'll give you

@@giogamer4825 definitely start with some Vignettes or Blinders I think they sell it on settings. You can adjust it too then try snap turn first. Have a Fan pointed at you too it helps me

Oh my God, its the only reason why I play VR.....I got the very first oculus head set for my birthday last year but controllers kept breaking, this game blow me away, I'm now waiting on a quest 2, then hopefully in the future a quest 3, all just for PCVR and this epic game!
Well worth the wait for U29 to go stable branch since the update debuted via beta branch months ago.

If they do visible body... it had better be perfect... I'm sick of visible arms looking like deformed boneless rubber that constantly bend the wrong way... kills immersion more than floating hands.

I’m genuinely excited to play this, after this update I’m going to wonder what is next because there isn’t anything coming to my mind besides maybe a campaign, I hope they add the weapon skins and such next update though because they teased it many years ago.
I was in a game with a rev about a year ago and he had a weapon skin on his sniper
Maybe an actual progression system? Ya know, the most fundamental thing a game can have? There's litterely no reason to play the game other than it being fun and social hangout, there's nothing to grind for or earn
@Mrfoldmyshirt and that's exactly how it should be. The system is perfect The way it is. It's just there to have fun and screw around, or get competitive if you want. Don't ruin it

@@Nidias0 Well it's what happened with Onward. Doing something like that can trigger a sort of chain reaction, where some people leaving relatively depopulated lobbies gives a bigger and bigger incentive to follow them to more populated lobbies, while draining the PCVR lobbies further.
Or maybe quest 3 or 4 can handle this game normally and they pool quest into the crossplay. Shack seems like a beta, biding it's time waiting for that to happen. The lobbies would explode over night and we can forget shack ever existed

In case you've been living under a rock, Shack got this update 6 months ago. All you have to do is switch the game to RC channel from the Oculus mobile app.

is the UE5.1 update for PC only? Or did PSVR2 move to UE5.1 as well?
No. they said there are no downgrades pc version and psvr2 version are the same

Not the best at all, he constantly banned people from the pavlov discord for giving suggestions and reporting bugs. He’s also just a overall terrible person for how he acts and no one seems to call him out for it.

I have the dominant hand set to left and locomotive set to dominant hand but the locomotive control doesn’t change from the right stick, I had this same issue on my quest 2 Pavlov shack and it just makes the game unplayable, can this be fixed?

Bring this game back to life! When CS2 came out pavlov decided to make some amazing changes! I thought it will just be a crossplay update, but it was much more. Hope content creators gonna get back on this game.

looks like I have to reinstall this. looks amazing. the competition between Contractors and Pavlov is great to be apart of when you own both lol. Onward and the mil/swat sim genre of vr shooters is rising too. very exciting!
