How have I never commented on this video? You must have shown me a private link or something. I love this sequence. Such great shot choices, and a great demonstration of restraint where its needed, then how to unleash the hounds for an action beat. LOVE IT.
Hahahaha, that was awesome, I mean, the sound effects for the knives were hilarious 😂 also the gold treats, the story was really interesting, and the camera movements were amazing, man keep it up, love your content.
Oh my god this is by far the greatest thing to see out of a storyboard, i specially like how you use the camera! I hope to see some great things from you! :)
it may just be me but it might help to some how keep some white noise so that it doesn't go from talking to silence to talking and back again. for me at least its really distracting
What an amazing establishing shot at the beginning! Such a great story driven way to use long lens. How long was it to pan into hero with binoculars? Was the camera always inside the room?
Thank you, Alan! The camera was inside the room and I don't believe I used a zoom lens so I think it just tracks back a bit and pans over. Hope you enjoyed it :)
This is fantastic work. How exactly did you split the work between Blender and Storyboard Pro ? Curious to hear more about the process used to get to this end result.
Thank you, Rafael! I will make a more comprehensive breakdown of this scene soon. I knew I wanted some 3D cameras and certain things in depth so the opening sequence (until the binoculars POV) and the final oner shot is in Blender. Starting from the binoculars POV, I used the 3D environment I made as BG layers in SBPro for when the characters are debating what to do next.
Something’s are better to use blender for like the oner shot at the end where it’s all in 3D. Other times you can import your blender environment into SBPro to draw faster in SBPro. I was trying to find an optimal workflow with this project but now I only use blender for storyboarding

Yessss! I love seeing the use of blender for previsualization! Wish more people got into it. Looking forward to more! 🔥
Thank you, shika! It's definitely a great tool to use for previs and 2.5D storyboarding. More to come soon :)

This is really cool. Can you make a video guide on how you did it?
Thank you, Dark Fox! I can definitely show a breakdown and walk through. It won't be a step by step guide but I can show you the tricks :)

why storyboard pro and blender ? , do you tried blender grease pencil in place of the storyboard pro ?
