    I have to say, I lost points from 6 to 10 of set 2. It's quite long numbers in the sentences, needs high concentration😊. I'll try to listen and write them down more to practice. Thank you for the useful video 😍🥰

    • @EnglishwithMax

      I'm not sure what ILETS examiners would say, but I think it's safer to use commas in big numbers.

    Thank you, I just have a question, in the sentence "8. The apartment is 1215 square feet." is the first time that I heard "twelve thounsand and fifteen", it confused me with "12 015". How can I differentiate both situations?

    • @EnglishwithMax
      @EnglishwithMax  3 года назад +1

      I actually said "12 hundred" (12 x 100 = 1200). We say that sometimes for numbers between 11 and 19, e.g. 13 hundred, 17 hundred, etc.
      I hope that helps!

    I don't understand why did u say twelve hundred and fifteen for 1,215? Can u please explain

    • @EnglishwithMax
      @EnglishwithMax  5 лет назад +2

      Good question. For numbers between 1100 and 2000, we often use a number in the teens.
      E.g. For 1800 you can say: Eighteen hundred.
