I remember going crazy when this version leaked and getting frustrated when i heard the album version.

I totally agree.. this version was much better, but the album version fit the album in a more complete way. Which still sucks, because like you I was there for this version when it leaked. Me and my friends went ballistic.

The song jusj appears.... then HardCandy was leaked in 2008 and it was another version. I Still love it.
I like this version a lot more, plus I can't stand Kanye West. Pharrell did a much better job with it in my opinion.

this is SO MUCH BETTER than the album version. I think she started to lose her way with Hard Candy, which really felt like a 'product' but this has some of the rawness and fun I was missing from that album.
I like it when Madonna uses that higher mixed/blended register that she discovered after she started voice training. She uses it a bit here...

I prefer this version! Would have been great as the ending song. Hard Candy overall is steel-like and cold, but this one has warmth.
I like this demo version mainly because of the different lyrics and it's more acoustic compared to the bass-pumping album version. I like the final cut as well but for different reasons.

Better than the original by far.
Different vocal flavors and more variety on the melody, song structure and overall sound.
Lyrics are very weak and disconnected from verses to chorous.
But what can you do:
1. Madonna duets with people way beneath her.
2. She is at her best physically being with collaborators in the studio but this is considered oldschool by her collaborators.
3. She has nothing relevant to say
Her last five albums are all disjointed and detached .
She needs a break, a great advisor for her next project and she needs to change her entire social media team asap

Does anyone remember the early leak of 4 Minutes around the same time, just a very short clip leaked in 2007, like a bit over 20 sec only, heard it myself so I know it existed... it was a very smooth R&B version (not the demo version on RUclips, there was no horns, it was entirely different, more acoustic old school sounding).
