- yay new video! only took like...a month, but not from a lack of trying, i've started many videos but this is the only one that i've been able to finish/been happy with.
So i know a lot of people ship tyrelliot and i don't exactly NOT ship it, i just liked Shayla and Elliot a lot more (rip shayla).

It is challenging to write something about this edit and the relations between these two, especially after years. I suppose the death of Shayla made me sad, not because she was a very well-written character but because she was more or less like a reflection of Eliot. At least I felt like that. It might be possible to think she was only his dealer, but apparently, I gave more importance. Undoubtedly, everyone has addictions or obsessions that they attempt to avoid. However, almost every addiction has some benefits for people who have them.
Shayla could have understood Eliot more than others since she was perhaps also addicted. As I have already said, every individual has a different level of addiction to something. I also had one, and it was not a material-based addiction but rather an individual to whom I gave infinite importance. Over the years, I understood that it was not a heavy problem to be addicted to something since no one is problem-free. However, there is a very severe issue, and that is to be understood by people you trust. Also, if your addiction or obsession centres on one person in particular, it makes the situation more problematic since the issue demands the awareness and understanding of this individual. Otherwise, you must either find an alternative treatment, which sometimes might be impossible, or be addicted to a new material that solely postpones your misery.
Although both Shayla and Eliot had some problems and addictions, they seemed to me as anti-dotes of each other. Their mutual understanding might have prevailed over any trouble-like situations. Therefore, her death made me sad since it also ended the aforementioned possibility.
THIS IS AMAZING and stephen always reminds me of EDEN, and honestly Drugs by EDEN is SUCH a mr robot song, if you ever need inspiration ..... i would love it SO MUCH. but this is incredible, thank you, i miss shayla so so much :((
i have a friend who is obsessed with EDEN and i've used a cover he did for one of my previous videos but i'll admit that i don't think i've heard that one yet. I'll definitely check it out, thanks!
