I have one and had it a month now and 1000 miles. It is absolutely brilliant. I am getting 42 mpg with little motorway usage. The engine, whilst I was worried about the engine, really it is the highlight of the car. It is punchy and also the gear box is absolutely brilliant...non of the historic issues with struggling to find gear.
@@gabrielbarros7213 1.5 technology bud. Now done almost 10, 000 and I love it. There isn’t a thing I would change, great commuting, I did a 600 mile trip and it didn’t miss a beat.
8 Speed DSG ? It's news to me. I was under the impression most DSG's were now wet clutch 7 speed boxes, the only exception being the DQ200 dry clutch gearboxes fitted to lower powered engines. I've ead the latest 1.5tsi VW Tiguan which previously used the DQ200 are now fitted with something called a DQ381 which is a 7 speed wet clutch, therefore perhaps Skoda are fitting these to their 1.5tsi Kodiaq too. But as for 8 speed DSG? Never heard of it.
Hi Just a quick comment, if you don't mind a bit of friendly advice. When choosing a place to film your review it might be best to pick somewhere that isn't popular with folk out "dogging" of an afternoon. That lady in your video was obviously looking for some "company" while you were attempting to do your piece to camera in the vehicle. Forgive me if I've got it wrong, and it's actually something you intended to be included in your review. If so, then I apologise.
Once these strange times have past I’m really interested in what they do with the next Superb. I wonder if the interior will be like the new Octavia or more like the golf 8. Really wish they would do a tan leather rather than the horrible chocolate one
a manual trans is a great welcome .... i wish the diesel bi-turbo had a manual as well ...Yes a vehicle this heavy needs more torques especially when fully loaded... But i wish the 2.0 ltr diesel should have produces atleast 190 horses and 370-400 nm of torques atleast
Hi there, they do a 190ps version with 400nm torque. Bought one the other day and its fantastic. The only downfall with the car is mpg. We are coming from a 2010 qashqai which returned 48-50mpg with the Kodiaq returning 39.2mpg 😕
Depends on the trim you want but it starts at £26,810 for the lowest trim and goes up to £40,065 for the Laurin&Klement version with an even more expensive version being the vRS model coming in for £45,740 I just got the L&K model which I think is amazing

Is it capable of carrying a full size spare wheel?
No, space saver is the max wheel size that the car is designed to carry.

It's not the car, it's the driver that speeds along efficiently, without horn sounds, ladies.

Does grinding noise in left cornering also come as standard?
I have that standard on my new Audi A6 Avant. Audi service response was just like from Russian Lada service "It is njormal"
