What's good Kings and Queens ! Hope everyones Feb is starting off right . To start the month of this video is on 2 undefeated fighters matched up against each other in a high stakes match.
This is the second time I have to address your slanderous comments on James Tony kid, listen up, James sufferers from a thyroid disease that causes his weight to fluctuate, it was not "his strategy" to come into the fight as heavy as possible, this is a flagrant lie and for some reason you keep telling it...
@@dirkantoine1 First such an issue will cause not only Toney to fluctuate in weight but have extreme trouble losing weight when not medicated. Toney made the weight easy this fight. 2nd this was Jones's first fight at Super Middleweight. Its very common for the natural fighter to purposely weigh in heavier on fight day as a strategy to wear out the inexperienced fighter moving up in weight class for the reasons stated. To everyone's surprise not only Toney put on quite a bit of weight but also Roy as they weighed in remotely equal on fight day. Lastly what caused Toney's real weight trouble in the first place is damage to the pituitary gland. This damage to the gland from years being hit in the back of the head because of his style caused him to produce T levels of a child causing him to have not only have fluctuation in weight but also energy. Theres an entire ESPN story on Toney's damaged gland.
Hey man, i want to tell you how much i appreciate your speed. i hate flashy, 500 wpm, presenters and you have a way that slows down the action so that my brain can actually process what you're saying and what's going on. this, with your research and care, keeps me coming back- watching and re-watching videos. much love and respect
I love how well written and developed these videos are. The same attention to detail we'd get with a All Access, truly showing the story arcs which is almost as entertaining as the fights themselves. Great work
Went to Primary School with Gary, and we were best mates. Always polite, popular with everyone - that includes teachers and other parents, too. RIP, my old friend.
Just wanted to say that you’re one of the reasons I got into breaking down boxing videos. It takes me hours just to compile a 10 minute clip. I can only imagine how much time + effort you invest into these videos & it definitely shows. Thank u for contributing the culture to us fans. Cheers
Hancho once more proving he's the P4P king of boxing youtubers, great work! Tua vs Ikeabuchi is an unbelievable fight, heavyweights non stoppping trading shots I like Pavlik's comeback against Taylor, he endured amazing and powerful punches and still grinded to win, huge heart
Awesome B Roll Footage!! 😂😂😂 Toney vs RJJ is one of my favorite fights of all time. Surprised you didn’t add Monster v. Manny Rodriquez too. Always top notch work!!
Video idea: a perfect encapsulation video, you do like 4 categories like David vs Goliath, perfect comeback, upset , slugfest etc and you find a fight that perfectly encapsulates that
Great content as always office hancho, men I loved seeing Roy Jones jr on the list if there is one boxer I could go back and time and watch in his prime it would be him. My favorite fighter of all time.
Wait so canelo was basically 50-0 and had 6 WBC title defenses and was the ring Champion when he fought Floyd? Why do people make it seem like he was just some inexperienced rookie when he fought Floyd?
Quality over quantity . American amateur/pro boxing culture is different from Mexican. Canelo went pro early due to the program being "bad" so despite whats on paper, the 42-0 is misleading. 3/4ths of Floyd's 44 fight resume against World class opposition cant be compared to the just turning 23 year old Canelo's resume against D-B class fighters (With the final Departure of Martinez, that era of Jr middleweight was the weakest in level of opponents. Rhodes and Trout being the only legitimate JR middleweights he fought prior to the Floyd fight, the rest were either blown up jr welters or welterweights, so the 6 title defense stat holds little to any weight). Its literally the equivalent of taking a College QB hotshot with crazy stats who played in a non reputable School/conference and throwing him against the best Defensive NFL team. He may have a moment or 2 but ultimately he'll get shut down and embarrassed and that is what literally happened to him against Floyd.
@Zulu Fight Channel exactly 😂it’s just one big long excuse… u could say the same thing about Caleb plant when he fought canelo ” oh he didn’t have any experience with fighters at that level” I hate those kind of excuses… Floyd was just better
The combination Pavlik used to finish Taylor with was friggin gorgeous. I’ve watched that fight maybe 10 times and I’m always quite taken aback by that combination and the way he was throwing. This is one of the only times that I have to disagree with Hancho on one of his videos though. Pavlik did not get up easily from that knockdown, he was stumbling all over the place when the round was over as he walking sideways back to his corner and what not. Even at the end of the fight you can hear it in Pavlik‘s voice when he says that Taylor hits like a mule. I’m pretty sure he had his nose broken in that round too. I won’t say it’s a disagreement regarding Toney’s weight because I’m sure he justified it that way but James Toney was friggin depleting himself to make that weight. He played high school football at like 210 pounds or something like that. When you have to deplete yourself and cut weight drastically each time you do it it gets harder and harder to maintain a healthy hydrating weight. I know James liked to eat but at some point you gotta chalk it up to him needing to be healthy. If it takes you 7 days to do a weight cut once you rehydrate you’re gonna balloon up big time. Other than that great video as always Hancho!
4:28 Very similar to Vitali Klitschko’ TKO loss to Lewis. Vitali was winning the fight but his cuts wouldn’t let him go on. The same with this Mason fight.
vitali was ahead on the cards, but i'd say that fight wasn't going to the cards, and both guys had taken an awful lot of punishment. one of the great 'what if's' of boxing right there.
Go and watch the fight again. Vitali was gassing. Lewis was taking over. Prime for prime, Lewis destroys Vitali. Vitali was more or less in his prime, Lewis was nearly 40 years of age and still turned the man's face into dog meat.
@@ReservoirPunk lol delusional, Lennox was clearly losing the fight, hit the lottery, and wanted no part in a rematch. What happens in his prime? Idk. Simple as that we really don't, but vitali was handily winning that one.
@@janibekfuturetop5p4p6 On the scorecards he may have been down but like I said, the fight was clearly going the other way, Vitali was gassing and Lewis was slowly taking over. Vitali was on his way to being KOd. Go and watch the fight again without your fanboy goggles on. Prime for prime, Lewis destroys him.
What's good Kings and Queens ! Hope everyones Feb is starting off right . To start the month of this video is on 2 undefeated fighters matched up against each other in a high stakes match.

Same, the videos don't give me anxiety like some channels 😂

and your also not one of those people that stretches every minute for those 10 minute midrole ads so they can milk more money
