The thing about Hangman vs Swerve vs Joe is that I want all of them to win
I never really cared for samoa joe in any company he was in, I think he's a great wrestler just not my cup of tea, I would like to see him lose but I got him retaining after hangman and swerve cancel eachother now
Swerve that's my dude man he became a top 5 wrestler for me before I even knew what he looked like, the first few season of lucha underground I loved fenix, prince puma(ricochet) and my favorite was killshot he had the mask and he wore dog tags but I think I heard he did serve in some capacity, ive been rooting for swerve along time
Hangman idc what anyone says I knew who he was before aew started but he was like my least favorite out of all those guys, i didn't think he was interesting but after aew started and his few year storyline with dark order, FTR the drinking problem the feud with kenny, he really became one of those guys that made me feel something as mjf would say, and i was stoked to see him win the world title and toss the beer our of the ring
But recently I dig this new attitude he's got cause he's still a good guy with bad guy tendencies and good guy complaints, I know sooner or later he'll be a full heel and I'm hoping he's carrying the title when it happens, but if swerve wins and goes baby face that's a win in my book too
However my prediction is samoa joe wins in 24 minutes after swerve hits his finish on joe and right before he can pin him hangman gives him the buckshot lariat and when joe and swerve are on the ground hangman can pin joe or swerve but instead he wants to hurt swerve so he sets up for another buckshot and he hits it and he goes for the pin on swerve but before the 3 count samoa joe pulls him into a choke and might even tap out but im thinking he falls asleep and joe wins

OMG Dan has bottled out of another legitimate title defence on a show where there's more than just 4 matches on the card.
The guy should be stripped of the Jam that Jampionship now. With the winner of this prediction contest being crowned the new title holder for Wrestlemania. Dan is the Roman Reigns of WrestleTalk. That belt used to mean something in prediction contests.
Really disappointed there's no Live Reactions for this show. Appreciate that you guys are going for the in-person events, but you've said you can't do them for AEW. Sucks that it means we'll not ever get AEW live reactions again.
completely agree, if you can’t do them live in a pub like you do for WWE then do them as you were originally, seems quite poor it’s not a thing
I predict there will be negative AEW news before revolution because it seems inevitable there is some negative pr before a ppv to always outshine a build or hype for said ppv
The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that’s been on purpose. It’s happened too many times, and the really bad news only seems to come when AEW is doing something big.

I can't NOT pull for Strickland, but this is one of those times where it's like "congrats, bookerman, you booked a match with 3 possible, equally excellent winners."

I can see a Copeland "turn" costing Garcia, and going for a "Nobody beats Christian but me" angle
Too early for a copeland turn. Plus aew are too light on star power as far as faces are concerned with all the injuries
it is interesting when they "have" to shake the winners hand, but i'm curious about the reverse. What if danielson wins? then, he offers his hand to eddie regardless. How would eddie respond? would he be classy about it? would he get pissed cuz "it's not the way it was supposed to happen"? does he doubt bryan's sincerity and walk off? could be interesting.
an idea has come to me for the tag match, and honestly I don't know how you do it, but maybe Sting throws in the towel to save Darby. like the Buck have him out cold threatening to do something super crazy (since it would have to be big enough for us to believe Darby wouldn't just do it to himself) and Sting ends his career saving the him

Honestly, if all goes well Revolution 2024 might be AEW’s best show ever. As for my Wrestle League predictions they are:

I want a visual of joe choking out hangman. At first hangman is worried and tries to eacape. But as he's fading ,he looks at swerve with a smile on his face
Ok picture this.
Hangman has the chance to finish Joe, but instead goes and handcuffs swerve to the ring so he cant win.
But has hes showboating, after doing it, we get the shot of sweve angerily swinging at hangman, hangman with a big dumb smile, both on the floor, Joe in the ring seething mad on all fours very quickly crawling towards them. just grabs hangman pulls him into the choke. Hangman with the look of fear now taking over and swerve desperate to get free swinging violently in the corner, even at one moment getting ahold of hangmans pantleg trying so hard to pull him out of the hold with just fingertips. But joe just kicks his hand away and chokes out hangman.
Last shot, is a zoom out. Dominate joe standing over a lifeless page with swerve in the ring corner just with a look of anger but only staring at hangmans dead body.
This gives wardlow a clear path to joe for the next PPV. Where he looks like a killer the whole way through, the build and the match. But MJF 100% costs him the title in the end.
Hangman and swerve have the ultimate blowoff, something stupid like a 2 out of 3 falls. 1st is death match, 2nd is last man standing, 3rd is 30 min iron man....with final 5 min extra, with swerve winning in the end....in seattle.
Just a thought
i understand that its just an idea but you are banking on hangman and swerve having stamina to go 1hr:30mins-2hrs
@mrcorona5175 yes. There will be lots of dorntime moments in the last man standing to help with that. And then the iron man can have a lot of outside crap to help give them a final rest before the last push at the end. I cant think of how to blow off thier last encounter. Cause i think theyll need 2 years atleast away from each other, let them tag in 2 or 3 years to take on some outside threat like NJPW or even impact if things line up by then.

Please please please, if this ends up being the only world title defense Joe has on PPV, open up the checkbook and get The Champ Is Here for his entrance TK. Punk got to do his big ROH entrance on PPV with AFI, Danielson has had his couple of big ROH entrances with Final Countdown, complete the Trinity and get The Champ is Here for Joe
The best match on the whole card for me zero hour... Willow Nightgale and Kris Statlander vs Evil Julia Hart anf Sky Blue Black!
Here's my hot take, Sting and Darby win and the titles are vacated. Then either before the PPV goes off the air or on the next Dynamite Nicholas and Matthew Jackson pull some EVP shenanigans to name themselves interim champions
No short AEW World Title reigns? Do we not remember 2022 with Moxley and Punk?
I’m just hoping for a reign longer than 100 days for Joe
They mean AEW hasnt intentionally booked a stort world title reign. We know why Punk's regins ended up being short.

Consider this: Kingston overprrforms in Danielsons eyes so much he offers him a spot in BCC. Mox of course seconds the vote. Claudio is against it which only pushes eddie to accept and then there is this new rift and claudio can turn true heel with wheeler as his goon

The world title finish I think will be an almost exact repeat of the C2 triple threat where Swerve couldn't get back in the ring in time.
I would prefer Kingston to lose here, unravel, lose all of his belts, take a hiatus/training arc and make a push for the World Title. If The Elite is turning full heel, Adam Page getting the big belt as a heel this time, Kingston vs Danielson as a number 1 contender match and an eventual win with BCC's help (Moxley helping his friend, Claudio and Danielson helping their former rival), running Bucks off (potential tag belts match between Bucks and BCC in any configuration).
I'm not saying what you laid out is a bad idea, but if they do a "Kingston unraveling then challenging for the World Title" angle.....Samoa Joe has to be Eddie's opponent, the story writes itself.
There is no shot that sting and darby looses, its the main event and u wanna send people home happy right? kinda need sting and darby to stand tall at the end for that in my opinion.
Sting and Darby could win and vacate, then on Dynamite buck just use their EVP status to declare themselves champions
The hangman argument won me over somehow..
The way I pictured the world tilte match going:
Hangman keeps hitting Swerve with big offence whilst Joe is out of the ring but Swerve keeps kicking out and laughing.
Swerve can't get up to fight back, but Hangman can't pin him. Hangman is freaking out.
Joe gets back in the ring, Hanger gets caught in the rear naked choke whilst distracted by being unable to finish Swerve.
Hangman manages to drag himself towards the ropes, but he looks over and sees Swerve actually getting to his feet, and so instead of grabbing the rope he taps to end the match and stop Swerve from having a chance to win. Because that means more to him than the belt, taking it away from Swerve.
The match ends and Hangman laughs because he accomplished his goal of keeping Swerve from winning the title.
Joe celebrates because he got the win and is still the champion.
But Swerve - the guy who didn't get pinned and kept kicking out - looks heartbroken after going through so much pain and blood loss only to come up short not because he wasn't good enough, but because he pushed Hangman passed the point of reason. He wanted to motivate Hangman so he could take his spot when he was back to the man he used to be. But in his attempt he changed Page into someone who would rather see them both lose, than have Swerve win.
Other than Joe and Strong. I am matched with Tempest. _I went Swerve. _*_May the best man win!_*

To carry on from your championship match call and to cement his heel turn, Hangman comes out to hit the buckshot on Sting to help the bucks win the tag title. Go full heel.
I feel like sting is gonna jump off the Tron or sum like that
I feel like the Sting match is going to build up toward the end in a way that makes us think the Bucks will win it with Sting going out putting the next generation over, but at the 11th hour, Sting pulls it out and gets a massive ovation in the end. Among all of the legends throughout history, Sting gets THE good ending. No angle, no shenanigans, just the good ending. Let The legend of Sting ride off into the sunset, the one untarnished record
Plus, Darby can vacate the title and we will get a new tournament out of it.

The Bucks lose to Sting & Darby, giving Sting his last big win. Wednesday Darby gets in the ring to either announce his new partner or give up the belts since he no longer has a partner. The Bucks come out and announce themselves to be the new AEW Tag Team champions. Thoughts?
I don’t think the trios titles need to be unified. I understand what Luke and tempest mean about the storyline but they shouldn’t unify both an roh titles with AEW trios titles. Keep up the good work tho love the content

I’d have stinger win and then properly rejuvenate the tag division with a tournament (cause Tony loves those) where the bucks beat private party in the first round(full circle) then beat FTR in the final.

The bucks don't need to be elevated..they already top level .....and sting has gotten darby over and set for his career ...and if it's sting last match they gotta pull some surprises and I doubt it's the last we see stings character maybe his last match but he will pop up again in some fashion

Fantasy booking. Adam copland costs danial garcia the title. Cop amd christan reform, meanwhile sting and darby win there match to set up a tag team tourny for the vacant belts. Garcia gets the tnt title off christan at big bussiness leaving c and c free to become tag champs
Bonus booking. Eventually we get a title vs career ladder match against the hardys
UK were infinitely more entertaining with the neck strong stuff. Now they're just generic angry heels.
Sting may not have "put anyone over" by losing, but he's been putting Darby the fuck over by winning. Darby getting the win for Sting's final match is how I see this playing out.

Toni wins, Mercedes comes out goes face to face with Toni, but Baker returns and goes face to face with Mercedes.

Wow I was completely thrown off by the intro here because I’m a huge AEW fanboy but this is definitely the least excited I’ve been for an AEW PPV yet, I think in 2024 AEW is off to a rough start and I hope this PPV can get them back on track for this year
Let Copeland and Christian Cage just fight. No one cares about the belt while it's on Christian; he's holding the thing hostage with his li'l entourage, wrestling with it twice? a PPV cycle. Give Garcia something worth doing; let them oldheads have their grudge match for nothing but bragging rights so they can toddle off to their own backwater oxbow & splishy-splash til they're tuckered out.

Osprey should win. Remember what happened when Kenny was losing a lot at the beginning of dynamite and everyone was like why are they telling this story. Will should be skyrocketed
to what level of skyrocket we talking about? we talking world title level of skyrocket? cause with the arrival of okada you kinda have to put the world title on okada in the next 6-12 months otherwise the booking of okada will be critized due to "not putting the world title on him"
@@mrcorona5175 It may be a good chance to elevate the Continental crown by treating it as a second world title. But also Ospreay doesn't need a title to be skyrocketed but he also could be winning against big opponents in big storylines
They are already foreshadowing that Osprey is winning a belt in the main event of All In 3....the question is who's belt will it be?
It's weird that aew's gimmick is putting over matches and wrestlers, but they don't lead to anything, really. Which make them to have to fix a ton of issues down the road.

I think that The Bucks should win and then jump Sting and Darby then his sons come out and save the day. The Bucks get what they want the championships and Sting gets his revenge on them. It ends with all of them with arms raised with Ric Flair and the Bucks on the ramp

Normally I'd want Sting to lose his last match as he's he's retiring legend and should put someone over on his way out.
However in this instance I see no benefit in Sting giving the Bucks the rub - they don't need it.
A loss for Sting is a loss for Darby too and I don't see how Darby losing this match benefits his either.
Imo putting Darby with Sting all this time should have helped boost Darby to the next level but I don't feel he's benefited from this partnership at all. Come next week when Stings gone, Darby is no bigger a star than what he was several years ago when Sting arrived.
So it's a tricky one. I don't really feel anyone properly benefits from the outcome of this match one way or another.
I guess maybe the Bucks can be heel champs bragging about how they took gold from Sting in his final match.
