GT Blue Lagoon Durban 16 Sep 2024

Using an Okuma Matrix 10ft with ITX 4000, I was throwing a Rapala Crush City Impostor hoping to hook up with a nice Pommie when this GT picked me up instead. Sadly just towards the end of the video it turned on me and swam towards me very quickly and I couldn't keep enough tension on the line. Good move GT, you win. Hook simply came away. Good fun all the same.

Cheers Don, but the limiting factor in this instance was the 15lbs braid....the Matrix has landed me some big fish before, so wasn't worried about the rod...
