The difference isn’t so much. 4WD usually has a dedicated all terrain system and controls which allows different variations like 2H, 2L, 4H, 4L. While AWD will just have a button or an automated system that allows power to go to the wheels behind when needed.

Glk headlight isn't 450k for a pair, get your facts right next time
The 014 Glk cost me about 160k for yearly servicing

The stereo/command system went bad replacement cost 130k
One time Speed sensor replacement 20k
Wipers: 10k
Nothing else! Its a very reliable car, even more than some toyotas.

From everything you've said, just a quick one, what is the advantage of buying the facelift model since it's same performance as the previous one and you can always do a bodykit upgrade to look recent, more affordable to maintain and the elephant in the room; that electric power steering and Lagos floods?
The engines are different. The face-lift one is more powerful. You would also love the steering of the face-lift one better. Crank also talked about the tail gate. Manual vs electronics

I know the dashboard on the 2012 looks bettter, but it's something that can be easily achieved on the 2010 too. Here's my major reason for all these actually; you see that electric power steering, I hate that it's prone to water damage, and Lekki floods isn't stopping anytime soon, and tbh you can't be coughing out 1.5-2m everytime you drive through water to change complete steering rack when I can just go for pre-facelift, and maybe facelift it myself to look cooler and you can also facelift the dashboard actually to look nicer as well

The engines are different...the M276 engine lasts longer than the M272...the M272 has some internal errors that will stress you

Changing fully synthetic oil at 3000 to 4000 miles is a waste of money. Original synthetic oil can take you between 10,000 to 16,000 miles. Imagine spending 100k every 3000 miles?
It is really a waste of money or a protection measure for your internal engine components
