- My little brothers Filipe, Junior, Robert and Tevita performing their own spin on the Haka at our sister's Liumounu & her husband, Makafalani Tu'akoi's wedding day.
The one leading is so proud of his heritage.
💪🏽
You can tell ❤
@fuck you who's Maori??
Especially the baby
@@madleymeide5185 Maori are native new zealanders
As he should be
It’s so beautiful to see young generations respecting their roots and their beautiful unique traditions. It’s so important we never allow these to die out.
I knew I was going to cry but I didn't expect the youngest to make me cry the most! He really stuck through the whole thing and tried his best! Really amazing to see.
Jess awww thank you! Appreciate the support
I totally agree with you! Their passion and love for their sister shows, and the little one blessed my heart.
Stop with the bullshit

I'm in love with this culture. Im crying... Greetings from Mexico!
Im not. Yall dont even try come to usa and try this dumb shit.
Mexicans are castaways from the Asians just like Pacific Islanders... Mexicans have a very respectful culture the "Mexicas" just people would rather listen to paisa music and speak Spanish
Kool Cool Kool cool your ass out the USA we don’t want you here
Kool Cool the USA is so uncultured tbh
@@ariesradke6193 well damn how respectful
The whole thing was great but the faces on the little guy was everything. He meant that thing. Lol!

There's NO SUCH PEOPLE!! PLEASE STOP The Haka is channeling their ancestors , the aggression alllll of it is NOT JESUS ACCEPTED OR ENDORSED BY GOD
Its Proud, boastful lacks fear of anything which is NOT CHRISTIAN
We are to worship him in spirit and in truth
@@cauliflowerpower41 what??

New Zealand Wake up thank you for this comment. They sure did make our family proud and I only hope they made our lil home country NZ proud too :)
Oh my heart! 💓 The haka leader was amazing, as were they all. But the little man.... What a blessing for him to have these wonderful big brothers to guide him. This was heart warming. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with us.
💜
They performed this to scare the shit out of the groom to make sure they treat their sister right
brought tears to my eyes, omg your youngest brother is so darn adorable
i always feel so strongly when i see any haka performed , being celtic origin i dont know why but it feels so primal and i love how you people have kept your tribal and ancient roots in todays jumbled up world , one thing i cannot understand tho is how every haka seems to sound just a small bit different to the next , is this because everyone has an individual one ? do they have different meanings ? or did each tribe perform a different haka ? i wish us celtic people could keep our history alive in the same way that was beautiful
There are many many haka's for different occasions
I'm from the same origin...and the Haka speaks to me...I would love to see one live before I die.
It's in your blood. The warrior speaks to us. I feel this too.
I came to Aotearoa from the UK 30 years ago (no regrets) and I can tell you that haka pervades all sorts of things. I am a teacher and on several occasions when a student has been presented with an award in front of the school there will be an impromptu haka from members of the audience. Each school has its own haka. I have seen hakas at christenings, weddings and funerals. I must admit that it can make me tear up these days. A haka is not a performance is is more of a primal scream. Although it may have started as a war cry intended to scare the enemy it is now more a show of respect and it is an honour to have a haka given to you. Kia kaha
Well said. I couldn’t agree more. Other than I’m Canadian with Celtic roots.
Whew! Heart, soul, pride, honor, connection to the land & ppl. Sending much love from my tribe in north Carolina!
The little one at 0:46 tells me everything I need to know about how well he is being raised. Respect and honor for tradition; along with the ferocity needed to defend it. Haka moves me to tears every time I see it.
Thank you for sharing your moment with us! Such a great performance! The young man in the front did a fantastic job!
The little one in the back was too adorable 😊😂
Much love and respect.
I want to teach my sons many cultural respects and I honor this strength and unity
OMG!!!! That little boy was unbelievable. So cute he was just as good as his brothers. Can't believe a child that young could learn an intricate routine like this. Love the Haka. Didn't love the people walking around. So rude.. Good job guys!!

I love watching the Haka being performed. I can’t believe how much emotion I feel when I watch it being performed. I’ve never even been to New Zealand, and I’m from across the planet in Canada. Super cool culture.
Little man was making sure to honor his ancestors with the older youth. May thee almighty creator guide and bless every family every relative and in-law. May thee ancestors be with them and guide them alway
Absolutely beautiful to see. I’m moved by this. I wish I understood what was being said. I was brought to tears without understanding the words.
This is beautiful the one in the front is so proud of his culture you can see it feel it not saying the others aren't proud
That's why it's so important to keep traditions alive. Teach them when they are young!!! Baby was adorable but Big Little Man lead the charge!
I have Samoan and Hawaiian heritage. But I didn’t grow up around any other than my momz. Watching haka makes me proud as hell of my Polynesian heritage. 💪🏽 💪🏽

4 mighty warriors have deemed their sister's new husband worthy. Blessings to the bride and groom.
The haka always makes me emotional but the little one really got me going!! Best one yet!
The Haka is so beautifull. I live in the Netherlands and you NEVER see anyone express their lovely culture as well as these people do. These peoples genetics are crazy as hell too. This kid ain't even fully hit puberty yet and he looks big as hell. All around just lovely people, lovely culture and i would love to visit their country once.
I cry every time I see one so amazing and powerful! So cute 🥰 here with all the brothers sweet
lil dude is a warrior
You will never find anybody doing the Haka with a half assed attempt, its engrained into their soul, you learn the Haka pretty much the second you can walk as a male and female its so emotional and such a ritual " nobody gets shy or embarrassed" they put their life on the line for those few minutes they become the warrior.
Wonderful. What a beautiful honor
The bebito is just great! good job!

Tears of happiness and joy. I love the samoan culture. 🥰🥰🥰
No doubt I can definitely say that their spirit, their love for their tradition, their respect for their identity runs through their blood. They're the Maori people of Maoriland New Zealand.
