Kev the Sports Psychologist (and life long strength athlete). Great work Michael, two things Champ, your weights off the floor are heavy, heavy, heavy and you know all the numbers. I think you could get more motivation/strength through more feedback data. The height you lift for some of your exercises and the time you can hold some of the exercises and both, for some of the exercises could easily be set up, and monitored. This would give you additional dimensions to your data collection and PB's inbetween, weight increases.....trust me, it will have benefits you cannot predict. Hope that helps, stay strong. Kev, England.

Michael. At some point, if you ever get a bit of space, please consider writing a fitness book outlining all of the ways you are able to achieve the physique you have. For guys, especially over 40, like me - I would buy it in an instant. Part of it could be arm wrestling devoted but mainly just for fitness goals. Outline diet, supplements, sleep, calories, cardio + more. It would also bring new people to the sport who will be inspired by all you're accomplishing at 40+. I don't think anyone else has done one like that in the sport. Best wishes brother

Who woulda thought ten years ago that MMT was going to be the good guy with all of North America in his corner? This has been a heck of an evolution both as a puller and a personality. I'm pumped beyond words for this man; and to see this version of him in a match with Ermes. Not many arm wrestling PPV's warrant a watch party in my book; I think this one will though. Best wishes on this journey from a brother in Christ!

The pronation engaged back pressure is certainly a useful exercise. I think the reason why MMT's gets criticized is how low he lets his hand drop. Which is much lower then in an actual match. Is it possible that changing the angle of the pully or lowering the weight to keep the hand higher through the motion would be more useful?

5:43 Please take the time to study the angle your ending up in off your back preasure lift. Your bicep opens, your riser flattens out, your hand is no longer high and knuckles are pointed towards your opponent.. This is the exact position Id expect an armwrestler to not want to be in. I suspect this is why your lift draws some criticism. Ive be really trying to understand it more and its benefits, Im paying very close attention.
