Summerville Steam Special 09/16/2023: PT. 2 “Rain on the Old Highway”

Our next shot was always a popular spot on these Summerville excursions for people who have gotten them in the past, and today was no different. Fighting a moderately heavy rainstorm, the doubleheader pulls hard upgrade through Rock Springs. Another classic in this shot was the vehicle staged next to the train. I believe a local owns that, as it’s usually around when these Summerville trips come around.
