Mr. Deraps is pretty much the only guitarist who gets it: Eddie's playing is filled with joy. What he does on guitar is flat-out FUN. Look at Jacob busting into a grin now and again - that's the miracle of EVH.

No joke - that's one of the best VH cover videos I've ever seen. The precise swing feel and accent pattern of that main intro/verse riff is one of the hardest things in Eddie's entire catalog to get right and you've nailed it in a way that a lot of players decades older than you can't.
I've watched this a ton of times now, and it still blows me away. Nobody has captured the swing and the feel the way you have other than Ed himself. That's the most impressive thing of all!

When I think of Eddie, I think busy. He was all over the neck constantly working different sounds: slides, feedback, harmonics, bends, trills, fills, so much going on. In my opinion, this is the song you show people when you want to demonstrate why Eddie was one of the most innovative and unique guitar players of all time. My favorite song to play too. Great stuff.

If I was this good when I was sixteen, I would have never struggled for female company, and I am sure you don't either! Incredibly precise and accurate rendition of this song, which also happens to be one of my favorite VH songs ever, and it's not especially easy to play correctly either.
