Question: Does the dubbing stop when the videotape ends? AND how much time is there on a DVDR?
Does ANYONE know how to *reformat* a DVD+RW(properly)? I have a VHS to DVD VCR recorder and I put footage on one of my DVD+RW's and I want to erase it and put new footage on. I took one DVD+RW and formatted it on my Macbook Pro with 'disk utility' and now I can't record back onto it. Help, thank you.

ok this was helpful at 8:00 I did not know you can add a bunch of different VHS to the DVD source. . once you "finalize it" you can no longer record on it.

VHS was never 1080p have a professional like me convert your family films to digital files for youtube or Facebook NOT DVD. this does not color correct and edit like i do for a reasonable price. this is not as easy as it seems.
but it cant record vhs tapes.
Caveat Emptor! These Junk Boxes should be outlawed! Regardless of brand (I believe there are 5) they are all made by the same company AND are a BIG waste of money! You buy this at your own risk! Originally, I found these at Walmart for under $200. Now, some greedy sellers are listing these upwards of $600! This is due to a panic by buyers because the company, I believe - Funai, quit making them. Why can't they make a decent product? After enough people discover the truth about these crappy units, they may even bring a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer. I hope the company goes out of business due to thievery. DON'T buy Chinese!
