I like this version much more than bedrock I feel it’s more polished and it’s how Minecraft it’s supposed to be with tutorials each update, it has more accessibility with the crafting system and the hud looks prettier

Minecraft Xbox One edition is the most Nostalgic game for me. I played Java and 360 as well, but I played Xbox One more. Xbox One version is the best version.
My brother and I are playing through the Xbox 360 minecraft version to complete all the achievements starting at the beginning of this month. And when we finish that we're going over to the Xbox One edition of Minecraft and completing all the achievements on that. All started this month. So far we are actually liking it more than Bedrock Edition and we've been playing it since it launched. You can actually make Notch apples. And we just fought the Wither last night on the 360.
Wow, haven't played this version for a long time! It's so clunky 😅 the blazes dropping glowstone was to make it renewable right due to non-infinite worlds? Gotta love the old crafting menu too. I used to love the tutorial maps with each update, I'd always jump into one and have a snoop 🤣
@TheRealLoganYT they are, but the border is at 35 mil blocks and so if you expand the border you can make it as big as you want but if you don’t use cheats there is a limit to how far out you can go
I really do miss the crunchy critical hit sound, wish they’d bring that over to Bedrock. That and the saturation effects on regeneration. Like a lot of people in this comment section, I’d take this version over Bedrock any day. If only it weren’t so obsolete….
How is it obsolete? Part of the reason I love Xbox One edition and still play it is that it’s actually DONE. With other versions it’s constantly changing, always some new OP mob that makes the game harder, or a bunch of random new plants. That stuff is cool I guess, but I think when this version was released, Minecraft had enough. Maybe I’m just an old soul in a 20 year old body but I don’t care if this is considered outdated. It’ll always be the true Minecraft to me.

That's the version of Minecraft that i have always played on an Xbox since i was maybe 5, 6 or 7 years old. I remember i got it on my birthday, It's so great.
I played this one, like 5 years ago, and then stopped, I just started playing it again and my 10 years old son came in the other day questioning why I was playing that version and he then proceeded to show me bedrock edition, so much better so am playing bedrock, but this edition was the best back then I had built so much stuff.
To show how weird it was when they discontinued, the xbox 360 got all the way to aquatic update, Thats the version i love the 2nd most, I have a world the size of stamp’s world on it.
The graphics and lighting are so much better, this looks like a genuine console game. The fog makes things in the distance look so much bigger and greater. Bedrock is just a sad excuse to push micro transactions. And it looks like a mobile game.. cuz it is All bedrock worlds look the same and the game don’t have character
I still play this one. So much you can do in this version that is not possible in Bedrock. But since this version doesn't get updates anymore. I make custom villagers for a 360 world and then import it to xbox one. So they have custom trades and the world I play on has a "Currency" for me to buy stuff that is not on that world.
I remember this version. Me and my older sibs had a flat world where we would basically build pieces for a story and make up stories about our characters. Sometimes we would go on the pre-made worlds and explore. One time my sibs and my dad went into the china/japan one ( I can't remember which it was and I can't find anything on goggle about it ) and they blew up a big panda statue with tnt. Great memories :]
This version just works so much better and is so much more polished, I started playing it again last night and genuinely forgot how hard to find diamonds were before the caves were revamped and update aquatic was added. It also seems way closer to the Java version than Bedrock seemed to achieve.
Damn, this brings back the nostalgia, luckily I still have the game installed on my Xbox one, it’s also now coming up to the console editions 10 year anniversary, it’s amazing seeing how far this game has come
i started playing minecraft when xbox 360 edition came out it was so fun. i remember the fun times i had with my friends than the xbox one edition came out and we started playing that. once xbox once edtion god discontinued we still played it. but than it got an update and then we went to bedrock and we still had fun on bedrock but now i barley play minecraft

I just played a few games of the battle royal, still had 4-6 players in each round. Very skill full players and it's more fun then the crappy servers we have on bedrock.
The og Xbox one version has been discontinued in the Microsoft store but you can still buy it as a physical disc. I bought it recently for £15 at cex so it's not to expensive either.
I played This version for years then i only stopped because bedrock have command blocks. After other years i came back to play xbox one edition and man, a jump of quality, huge jump of quality. The game is also much relaxing then the bedrock version, the content is more appropriate in my opinion , also the ability of re set the end and the nether wich allows the player to get the best xp farm with fun.

Ive had this mc on my ps4 since it came out and when it was discontinued my mc just updated to the new versions but i can still play it inside the game its just called editions now
This is my all time favorite version of Minecraft. I remember downloading Bedrock and it's just not the same. The textures are weird and the gameplay feels clunky. Xbox One edition is the best for me. Java edition is a close second

The Xbox one has bigger world size and if you brought the favorites edition you get 7 dlc packs for the Xbox one edition.
I still play it as it is a good version .My favourite feature is how you can block with swords!

All Minecraft worlds are non infinite they border is at like 35mil blocks
