As @Puddle Duck already kindly mentioned, I applicated the wax on the "inside" of the lavvu and not on the outside, which would have been the more logic way to do it. But, since the wax melts "into" the material it's not a big deal and will do it's job. Anyways: putting the wax on the outside and repeating the process once or twice, will result in better waterproofness.

Thank you for your comment :) I applied the wax on the inside which is probably not the best way to do it. But since the wax is now 'in" the material, it pretty much is going to to its job. Next time I would apply it on the outside.
@@gasparbushcraft5430 from what i understand...the extra flap is on the inside shoulders. and the arm holes have the flap on the outside to seal the hole with the buttons on it. But i dont guess it matters as long as the wax is in the material

I bought a load of these wax blocks cheap,now Ive realised why!
