- AirAsia flight experience, with a team of awesome cabin crew, onboard a very short (just 33 minutes) but nevertheless, amazing flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur!
I almost missed this flight, owing to my misjudgement of time whilst being too engrossed in duty-free shopping (I was buying cake at Bengawan Solo for friends - highly recommended, by the way!). After rushing across the airport (all the way from Terminal 2 to 1), I reached the boarding gate out of breath but was nicely reassured by the smiling cabin crew that I did make it for the flight. Phew...
Onboard, the cabin crew displayed a very positive attitude from the start and throughout; cheerfully interacting with passengers and delivering a personalised service despite the short flight time. It is great that AirAsia provides passengers with the option of purchasing their favourite snacks and beverages at affordable prices.
The AirAsia onboard experience is very enjoyable. By landing, I was feeling very relaxed and calm, having recovered from the awful situation I had tangled myself in earlier at the airport.
Thank you very much to AirAsia and the team of amazing cabin crew for making this short flight experience a wonderful one despite my rough start. #togetherwestand

I have to agree with your comments about AirAsia. Last year I flew with AirAsia and AirAsiaX from Phuket to Seoul via Kuala Lumpur. Both flights arrived early and the cabin crew were excellent. 10/10 AirAsia.
Having done that service so many times in my career, wow, it is nice seeing other crews doing their service as well...
Never had a problem with Air Asia. Even when running to get our flight after being delayed from another carrier they help us all the way. 30 flights later still happy

Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience and for your beautiful comments about the cabin crew. It is definitely inspiring and motivating for the crew to get such positive feedbacks from passengers. I am asian and was a flight attendant for more than 20 years, though I flew for a german airline. I guess we asians love to render a sincere service even if just by merely giving a simple warm but authentic smile. Unfortunately, many of my european ex-colleagues didn't acknowledge my friendliness to our passengers and even commented my friendly service was "too much".

Judging from the eye candy the cabin crew provided for the passengers, I would say it was well worth your dash across the airport to make that flight . . . hot!

Looking at all other videos of Singapore to Kuala Lumpur shuttle flights. On the full service airlines (e.g. Singapore Airlines), all you get is a drink and maybe a little snack. But with AirAsia, even on such a quick hop like this flight, they still seem to serve pre booked meals to passengers (on the other SIN-KUL hops on AirAsia on your channel). AirAsia looks like an awesome airline to fly with, bit like Easyjet (but 10 times better).
another excellent flight report gavin. one thing i did notice was when you took off alot of gates seemed to be empty. im not familiar with changi so is there a reason for this gavin?
mognut1 thank you very much for watching and commenting! well, I think this flight departed just after the morning peak of 6am-9am so many of the gates are empty - just 2 hours earlier, there would have been many flights bound for regional destinations (South-east Asia, North Asia), as well as some morning departures to Europe and Australia.

I agree, I always found Air Asia staff friendlier ,courteous and helpful when compared to full service ,much higher priced Qantas

987TravelSingapore Thank you very much for watching! In all honesty, I really enjoy AirAsia very much. I do prefer widebody aircraft but A320s and B737s do fine for shorthaul flights. Taylor Swift's "Shake it off" is played during the deboarding :)

I cannot help noticing that the cabin was not very full, hence the time the cabin crew had plus enthusiasm and energy; it was not such a daunting task for them!

Well.. I traveled to Kuala Lumpur from India and the flight was full. In addition, the cabin crew knew that I was deaf. They always made sure that I was okay and what I wanted by asking me from time to time. Air Asia cabin crew are wonderful, friendly, humble too.

from my point of view you are being a little bit too positive. What I mean is that this is a nice airline but there is not much to point out, for example, they dont even give you free food and it is pretty standard. I would like to fly Air Asia some time, I bet their service is great and the crews are nice!

You have a great point in comparing service standards with other airlines, however, bear in mind, AirAsia is a low-cost airline, and comparisons should be done with other low-cost airlines which do not offer complimentary meals and beverages - to be fair. Similarly, it won't be fair to compare X airline's Economy Class service with Y airline's Business Class service. The AirAsia crew has shown great enthusiasm and warmth in their service, and very attractive prices for their buy-on-board menu, which isn't very common on other low-cost airlines I've experienced. This, I have greatly appreciate and highlighted appropriately in the video! I'm most happy that you can see that!
what about the fogging of passengers wt chemicals for alleged zika control? Very harmful .Not given choice.
